Faith VS UNBELIEF!

This one has meat with our milk brothers and sisters!! LOL Over the past couple of months,the Lord has been showing me some truly amazing things through both his word,and his wonderful grace! What I am about to share with you, I can take no credit for! Nor will I! I present this to all of you,so you yourself can judge this!I want you to! No brother or sister has all truth,we know in part.( 1Cor 13:12-13) But from LOVE some parts are reveled to us his children. Children such as us, who care so deeply both, for the Lord and for each other. Faith is given in the same measure to all true believers. ( Acts 10:34) Since faith comes from God himself,no on can have less or more then another! That may shock a few of you. hehe.

We know that only a grain of mustard seed of that faith is required to move any mountain.But yet why is it, that at times the mountain seems to not budge an inch? A lack of faith??LOL NOPE!! But many Churches have taught this to us! And have convinced many of us, that this is the truth.It is not the truth brothers and sisters! So can one have faith and unbelief at the very same time?? YES!!! This man did!!( mark 9:19-29!!) (matt 17:17-21) Only with a different twist on it!!A very impotant twist! I had always believed in matt 17 that this demon could only come out from prayer and fasting!!LOL That is not what jesus is saying here! LOOK CLOSE!! verse 20

It is not prayer and fasting that is required to cast out the demon,prayer and fasting is so we the believer can cast away our unbelief! To line our flesh up with the eternal rather then the natural! ( 2 cor 4:16-18) So am I saying that faith and unbelief are different? If I was pulling you on one side,and another was pulling you from the other side, with the same strength, where would you end up? LOL Yep right where you are! The disciples paid attention more to what the person was doing foaming etc.. then on the promise God himself already empowered them for! There is nothing what?? impossible for who??( luke 1:37!)

Since we as believers are sealed in Holy Spirit( eph 1:11-14) and since God has already given every believer EVERYTHING!! that pertaines to life and Godliness! ( 2 peter 1:3-11) What faith can any believer lack in?NOTHING!! So it is not our faith that lacks! It is rather our unbelief!( the natural,our 5 senses) Let me show you some more verses so you can better see. Did the Lord lack faith for those he prayed for in his hometown?( mark 6:4-6)NOPE!! verse 6!! Not faith here rather unbelief by them!! here! The feeding of 5000, which with women and children was really about 15 thousand!5000 men! ( mark 6:34-44) Now watch something!! Jesus then told the disciples to go into a boat and go ahead of him,verse 45,after saying farwell, he went to pray,now evening came,the wind as jesus was seeing the wind was against his disciples in the boat, as they were having a most difficult time.

Jesus walked on the water to them. They thought it was a ghost! And cried out! As Jesus stepped into the boat the wind stopped. And verse 52 is the key verse here!! For they had not gained any insight from the incident of the loaves but there hearts were what??YES hardened! unbelief can hardened a believers heart, so they will not recieve! It is not faith in which you lack brothers and sisters,it can be from a hardened heart! Unbeilef causes such. When our eyes are not on the promises of God's Word,and look only to what is around them at present! Emotion and feeling take control, and when they do,hence unbelief! Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God,then!!! How faith can be hindered!!faith we have!but does unbelief hold our faith in bondage?this only you know! Abraham had no more faith then we do!!BUT!! he had more belief then we do!

When told Sara would bear a child,he took God at his Word,never did he have any unbelief in anything God told him! In self Abraham bore Ishmael, by God alone!! he bore Isaac! Sometimes we as believers look to help God out, LOL When really we are the ones the need HIs HELP!! AMEN!! God' s help comes from the belief of the promises Abraham never saw!( heb 11:13-19!) ONLY BELIEVE!!!!!! ( mark 5:35-36!!) Notice something here!! The only disciples Jesus took with him from here are Peter,james and john the brother of james!WHY??? LOL because the rest had unbelief! ( mark 4:24)Jesus gave a great example here of just that!

Last month I was told there was no way i would get a new car! The bank told me,my brother told me,and my mother told me!I was not looking to them for my help!! LOL 3 weeks later the bank changed its mind,and money which I did not have enough of was covered by the Lord for me! Because i had great faith???? LOLLLLLLL!! NO because i had no unbelief in Jesus who cares and LOVES ME!! I have learned so much these past 2 months brothers and sisters!! I thank my Lord Jesus daily!For his loving kindness and his understanding which I sit under daily! I do this, not because i am better then any of you!!I do this because jesus provides! because Jesus LOVES ME!! Because as he first loved me,can I only love all of you! In HIS PERFECT LOVE!!! ( 1 john 4:17-19) before you pass this word off in your own life as meanless,you may want to consider following your faith in perfect belief! The rewards for doing so are large indeed! And bring so very much hope to others! Because Jesus is not just about us! He is about showing others himself through us! To God be all the Glory forever amen!

You know this really comes down to walking in our inward man , our Spirit ! He the Holy child of GOD ! Our flesh mind may have doubts ! but our Spirit has no doubts is perfect in the LORD! When we fast ? We then walk and live much more in our New creature , our Spirit ! Our Spirit is the One God puts everything of the Kingdom in ! Not our flesh mind or body !
First of course we must be HIS child ! Then we must fill our flesh mind with His living words and accept them as Truth with the correct understanding !
His Spirit enters our New Spirit and Dwells Forever in it !
His Spirit is GOD power that God shares with each of us ! But God gives all mankind Faith ! Our Faith can grow mighty or die ?

Rom_12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Mat_17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

GOD gave it to them , where did it go ?
2Th_3:2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

The problems are always in our flesh minds ! That the battle field ! where we doubt or believe ? And too what degree or not?

Rom_8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
It HIS POWER within Us !

2Co_4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

1Jn_4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Rom_8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Rom_1:9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son,

We get different anointing for the Work He called each of us too do? So they should be doing those works more than Us ?
Inwardly i think HE does give us everything we will ever need ! Outwardly in our flesh mind we might doubt? Sure i have at times !

We know that only a grain of mustard seed of that faith is required to move any mountain.But yet why is it, that at times the mountain seems to not budge an inch?

Seeds are funny little things that usually require a lot of patience....

Did I say a lot? Seeds can require so much patience the most 'FAITH-FULL' man or woman can run out of patience, and have to go back to Father for more.

I believe the apple tree in my back yard is going to produce apples....and its going to take all spring, summer, and fall....no use speaking to it and commanding it to produce the apple I want NOW...unless of course God has instructed me to. That could happen ...like Moses telling water to come out of the rock in the desert....but there was an immediate need for water NOW or they would all die of thirst....so Father supplied them water...but other than immediate needs of food shelter and water... everything else the Israelite`s believed for was a long way off...and they had to trek through a hot dry wearisome desert to receive...

The dash between faith-unbelief is patience...sometimes that dash is 3 weeks long...sometimes 3 years...

True faith plods along and does the work that proves we believe we will see the desired results....if we don`t get tired and quit...

I get tired and quit just about every night....thank God His mercies are new every morning.... and He patiently hands me back my hoe...


So sometimes its not a matter of belief or unbelief...

Sometimes I would be content to have patience to wait for the fruits of my labors... PATIENCE the size of a mustard seed. :coocoo:

rom 11 :23!!! A real dandy Eddie fire!! Thanks so much for that! Thanks also to Spirt1st, neat point on the difference between flesh and spirit as well! Who has not doubted at times in there life!! And to Coconut from looking at this from a different prespective!! Rather then the result, Coconut is looking at this from the beginning seed planted!!MOST INTERSTING! I like that sis! be encouraged
and as Christians we should believe for we have it written for us in the New Testament in the Gospels and in the entire Bible AND we have the witness of the Spirit, the Comforter the Spirit of truth and teacher

for non-christians unbelief can be overcome in Jesus and in Him alone and there is no other name by which we must be saved

by faith you are saved by grace and the doubting and fear can be overcome through Christ Who loved us and God Who loved us for it is the Truth that will set you free
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. John 14:6
and best of all the Lord will be glorified in us and His Salvation
