Ever wonder if you truly are a man of FULL faith in Jesus Christ? See, I believe in Jesus Christ as every good thing that the Word says about Him, ultimately being Son of GOD, GOD incarnate, Savior. I believe He is Creator, Healer, Comforter and so forth. Then why do I find myself going for medicine made by man instead of prayer faithfully and FERVENTLY in Jesus' name in times as now, having a miserable cold / headache the past few days?

Seriously, I never get sick aside the usual common cold once per year (maybe twice, I dress foolishly in winter I admit). But when I get this cold, I get hit hard for whatever mind boggling reason. I mean I have a proper diet, proper exercise daily, proper sleep, but proper faith? Am I faithful in this department or am I not testing my faith hard enough to believe that Jesus will heal this cold and make it go away faster? It is certainly possible that GOD is letting me (or anyone else) go through this minor (but very frustrating) sickness for a good reason.

In my case it is possible that GOD is doing such because I pray that GOD helps me stay home and rest a few days from weightlifting. I've been working out daily nearly non-stop for a long long time, not quite the healthy style of exercising [over working what its referred to]. Perhaps this is GOD's way of telling me through my body "time to rest". Anyway, the point is would it kill me if I prayed for healing of this horrible cold and weak body instead of popping Advil and Nyquil? I'm sure it wouldn't. Although right this moment being sick, I'm scared of my life wiping my nose again with a tissue due to the totally irritated skin, or inflammation under my nostrils. Whatever they call the result of using cheap tissues all day long lol.

I'm not here to debate whether or not 'medicine' is GOD sent or not, but we can all agree that GOD surely would be pleased with prayer in replacement of instant bodily reaction to visit the medicine cabinet in our homes, or yet a human doctor. Although I feel miserable now for the past few days because of this cold and weak body, I've learned that prayer really would be a nice suggestion. I confess I hate medicine, yet I went for it because I was so miserable. I get hit hard when I get colds and I become rather grumpy (on top of the usual ).

Conclusion: try exercising your faith even in the smaller things such as a common cold. Jesus is there and always hears our prayers

Colds are a nutural thing we have from time to time, but i would suffer worse if i didn't use a nasal spray to clear my nose, well at least when i go to bed i use it to unclog my nostrils just enough to fall asleep.

Some folks don't like Dristan because it makes their nose feel dry and painful, but they have it now with moisturizers to help this problem. Quest what im trying to say is i thank God for it:star: Doctors as well...and there is a good reason to have one from time to time, did you know that there are tribes people in Africa who would die if they even caught a common cold?

So i say better to have one from time to time, than to die from one. Its all part of our complex immune system, as it can make it stronger.

God bless

Little or great Jesus heals..!

Before Jesus there is little or great...Jesus heals in every situation but we are given the reason to use it...prudence also is very important...believing Jesus heals I must not test him by exposing myself to dangers...Prudence also is the gift of the Holy Spirit...:lightning

I do believe at times we experience certain physical problems because God wants to "slow us down" when our body needs rest, and/or to bring us to our knees in prayer.
