I truly don,t know how much i can take.I have full custody of my grandson of 4 years old.I have fallen out with my daughter as she has hurt me deeply.we don,t talk as i found seringes in my grandson,s bedroom putting him at risk.I can forgive her and pray for her but choose to keep away, yet i,ve heard she is having to have an hysterectomy, blood tranfusion at the tender age of 21.Then today my son and his partner were told their baby is serverly brain damage and have to make a huge decision by Monday to determinate the pregnancy(i,m against).Everyday i,m told my other son is up to no good,he,s 27 left home (how on earth do i deal with him)he,s a drug addict.Bangs the door when needing something but never ask how i,m doing. It feels so terrible and my head is a mess yet i know i have to be strong for my grandson.I guess i feel alone in all this and want to scream out to God.my prayers are weak im slow to learn yet i,m eager to feel God,s presents and tell me Its going to be ok.

Hi Pinkangel,

3 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. 4 He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. 5 For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ. (2 Corinthians 3-5)

8 We are often troubled but not crushed; sometimes in doubt but never in dispair; 9 there are many enemies but we are never without a friend; and though badly hurt at times, we are not destroyed. (2 Corinthians 4:8-9)

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1
(courtesy of "Nearly Deadly" post, which is a great post you should read).

We all face troubles as Christians but God saves us from them all. If you read the many threads on TalkJesus you will recognize that there a many Christians facing their own troubles, so you are not alone. Sometimes God allows trouble so that you can witness He's miraculous power work in transforming your family for the better - as long as you don't give up your faith and prayer for your family. God doesn't allow things that you cannot handle, so don't worry about your weaknesses, because in your weakness He is Strong.

Don't rely on what you see, but what you believe God can do.

You are never without a friend here on TalkJesus, I am sure that there are many members who can relate to having family troubles in some way, shape or form.
When you're feeling down it's also nice to get online regularly and read (besides reading the bible) some of the threads and testimonies that revitalise your hope in Christ.

Godbless...

Sweetie your in my thoughts and prayers ,iv seen first hand how addication can come into our homes and destroy so many lives ,but i have also seen how God can kick it back out the door. My family was riddled with it and now many years later they are all clean thank God. Clean and strong with God. Keep praying sister they was a time i thought it would never end now its just a memory and i hope one day it will just to be a memory for you.

Heavenly Father I pray for this situation today. Lord Jesus I call upon your Name and ask you in sincerity and truth to bless this family with your presence. Lord Jesus I pray that you come in and push back all that is unpleasant and painful, and establish righteousness in this home. and give peace and pleasantness. Amen

Your word informs that "nothing is too difficult for you"

Hi Julie,

Hang in there. You are obviously a very caring person and you are doing a stand up/wonderful job looking after your grandson. Stay strong, the Lord is with you. You and your family are in my prayers.

God Bless

 Eve X
