7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
One of the effective weapon of satan against humanity is the weapon of fear
Fear has constituted a stronghold in the life of many people preventing them from fully maximising their God given potential. It has made a lot of people to hastily take action that they deeply regret for the rest of their lifes .Fear is usually triggered by situations ,experiences and circumstancies that are painful and hurting .These undesirable experiences are triggered by the spirit of fear.this spirit rules and controls the life of an unbeliever.This spirit is given by satan to torment his followers and that is where bible says that believers are not given the spirit of fear because they are not living under satanic dominion rather we are given the spirits of power which produce confidence in us to live a triumphant life,love which produce a deeper relationship with God and humanity and finally a sound mind which enables us to make divinely guided decisions
