Feed The Children
Today millions of American children will go home and find little or nothing to eat. I'm sure that makes you just as sad as it does me. But they feel even worse.
It doesn't need to be like that -- children don't need to go hungry or settle for a stale loaf of bread for dinner.
Feed The Children gathers food from across America, sorts and stores it in our warehouses, and then boxes and delivers that food to America's poorest children and their families. All of that costs an average of $3.50 per box.
A box of healthy food will feed a family for a week ... for just $3.50.
You can't beat the cost efficiency of feeding a family for $3.50 a week. But we need your help to meet all of the needs we are facing this fall. That's why I am sending you this message today.
There are millions of little ones under the age of five who don't go to school ... so they don't take part in a school lunch program. And their big brother or sister that comes home from school needs a good evening meal to grow up healthy and strong.
Every $3.50 you send this month will mean that another family has food on the table this week. Decide how many families you can help, and send a gift now, please.
