feeling really hurt

Hi everyone, i want help to see through this hurt and anger i have towards this christian woman whom i thought was a friend. She is also my boss. I have posted on here before about the hard time I've been having in this position. She has been bad mouthing me to her other workers and patrons that come into the café. One worker has left because of the lies and deceit this woman has, this young girl asked me to leave also but my position is a little different to hers as i have a family to support. I've thought about approaching this woman about this but i know it would be done in the wrong spirit and my emotions would probably get the best of me and will know doubt blow it. This hurts and it feels like she's getting away with what she's doing. We live in a small town so everyone knows everyone, this is how I've been told about what she's been saying. Should i be worried about my reputation? But this experience confirms to me why i shouldn't trust christians, well those i get close too anyway. I know I'm not perfect, but with gods help i do try to do what's right and certainly don't treat people like this. You're thoughts and encouragement would mean alot to me.

No wonder when I came on here this morning the Lord had me give this scripture to all of us.( gal 6:7-10!!) Now I see why I did this! Thanks sister!! verse 9 Let us not lose heart in doing good,for in due time we will reap IF!! we do not grow weary. Do not grow weary my sister!! God will not be mocked!! As you well know in yourself,many call themselves Christians,but you know what a true believer is!! We do not have to say this,we rather show this! Let not your heart be troubled! ( John 14:1!!) You said you feel like your boss is getting away with it. what ever we sow we shall shurly reap. pray for your boss.

i been there too. im friendly with an x boss did me dirty before. love is the greatest.

Hi Smitties09,

I wanted to let you know you are prayed for in this situation. I know its painful to have people say hurtful things about you, but take comofort in this my sister in Jesus...God has promised you in His written word to be there with you and to strengthen you through out the situations that come against us in our lives. You must always remember too that our advisary the devil lurks to kill, destroy and he does this by his lies...don't let him steal what is rightfully yours sister...hold on to that joy that is given to you by the Lord who resides in you...He is your joy and your truth...hold tight to Him and don't let go...find your strength in Him. I'm going to put a few verses here that I hope will help and encourage you. God bless you now and always...may His blessings abound more than ever in your life and the lives your family.

Isaiah41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. i will strengthen you, yes I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

This person that is bad mouthing you is probably looking for some kind of reaction out of you...so, give her a reaction alright...look at this person and say to them " God bless you I'm praying for you". This way you don't add fuel to the fire that is already burning and instead of reacting as she maybe wanted you to...you are showing her love and that is a reflection of the Lord Jesus who resides in you. Keeping praying for her as hard as it is right now that is also a way to defuse any anger or lies of satan...block him with Jesus and in His name the devil has to flee.

My thoughts and prayers are with you my sister in Jesus. Jesus loves you and so I and all your brothers and sisters here at Talk Jesus.

Thank you eddieb and abbysaunt. It is such a blessing to know that I have brothers and sisters in Christ who are praying for me and my situation.
Today I am going to a mediation meeting, to see if things can be resolved some how and to be heard fairly. Not sure if this will work but I am desperatley trying to trust god what ever the outcome is. Thank you all soooooo much and god bless you all and this forum.
