This is actually something God told me tonight, but I know this is what he is saying to anyone and everyone who is back sliding or afraid to fully commit to him. I've been afraid of fully living out the life God is calling me to, because I know it means greater responsibility, greater risk, and greater opportunity to fail. Whatever the reason, if you feel that you are running from God, I believe this is what God is trying to tell YOU right now.

Yes you are, but just because you are “in control” does not mean you can decide what is RIGHT for your life. You areliving the life you think you want, but I am telling you the life I know you need. You decide which life to live, but only I can know the life that is truly yours.
Look at what you are doing. Is this you? Is this really you? If you do not know, shouldn't you trust your CREATOR to know the answer.
I have allowed you a certain area to run. You have been able to experiment within my set perimeter. I have allowed you to run, but COME BACK. If you keep running, the perimeter will expand. I know you have fear in your heart, but the life you believe you fear now is nothing compared to what is out there, beyond my “control.”
Beyond, there be dragons. Dragons beyond imagining. The darkest parts of your life shine brightly in contrast to what your life would become if you continue running. You run from me because you are afraid of what I can enable you to become; Let me tell you that your heart should fear what would lie in wait for you.
As soon as you completely leave the confinements of relationship with me, the world is ready to devour and consume you. Can you not feel it already? The world wants you. He (the Devil) wants you. He wants you because he is the only one who fears your success more than you do. Just as clearly as I, he can see the impact you will make for my kingdom. He will try everything he can to keep you from it.
You have been so blessed, and so protected in my love; would you throw that all away?
