Something I've been pondering on. I feel sorry for a lot of people that are lost in the world. And also confuse myself sometimes with faith. I'm still working on reading the bible everyday and growing closer to Jesus. But looking for those who are more experienced with Gods word on this subject.

Why doesn't God forgive those who have gone to hell or are on there way? Many people are deceived by the devil as it says in the bible. Why can God not forgive those who were lost and deceived there whole life. Lots of people in the world just look for proof and facts in this world and can't seem to have faith. But if God loves everyone..even those who have turned their back because they have been deceived by the devil himself...why can he not forgive them? This also leads to another question....does God give the devil an upper hand on people? Since us humans are so easily deceived and find sins so appealing...no wonder so many are lost. I know Jesus is the only way...but can he not see that the devil can so easily persuade us into sin? I'm sure if people would see clearly a message directly to them from God more would believe. Some have turned from atheist to a Christian because they have received that message. There are many stories out there. But others are still lost.

God teaches us to forgive even or worst enemy. So why doesn't he forgive even those who turn away and are lost and deceived by the devil.

Hello dear brother

Reading your post........Many ways lead to Christ............But only Christ..The Door' leads to God. 'There is a way that seemeth right....but the end is death' (bible) make your calling and choice sure.

Anyone else? And maybe explain a bit more Stephen? I'm still confused

I would like to point out that in the book of Revelation we are informed that Hell is temporary; the souls it contains are emptied before the throne of God for judgment, and then Hell is cast into the lake of fire. God is just, holy, and merciful, and as a sparrow does not fall to the ground without His notice, it won't be due to negligence or ignorance that a soul is separated from God.

I believe hell eternal but that is not the subject of this thread so I will not attempt to debate it as such. As far as the lost, well the choice is theirs to make: They can come to Christ and find life to choose to reject Him.

i don't think the original posts question is very well understood. seems like cop-out of answer of christians to say they have choice to believe in Jesus. (Bible doesnt say we must choose Jesus, it says all must believe) when in reality it takes faith not choice. choice cant give faith either no matter how much you wish and may lead you to search from wrong religion.

It would be hard to explain in few words what you are asking. The best thing for you to do is take a Bible course at a school or church. Then you can get the answers without being led astray by someone who seems to know all the answers, but is wrong. The short answer is, all are called, but few are chosen.
