Note to everyone, it is difficult for the moderators here at TJ to cover every post in every thread, please report any and all posts you believe are in violation of the forum rules. If you believe someone has been mistreated by one or more of the forum moderators please report it and/or contact Chad.

Moderating is not an easy task and we do make mistakes, but if one does not report it we can not correct it. If someone does not report the grievances to the Moderators so some corrective action can begin, but rather posts their grievance on the open forum it gives the appearance that the grievance is unfounded or the poster is offended and does not really want to give the offender an opportunity to correct the offense.

Again please use the tools in place to report any fracture of forum rules and/or any personal grievances to the Moderators and/or Admin.

Thank you brother Mike.

The report button is there for a purpose. Instead of complaining about certain discussions in the forums and asking to have your account closed or such, *be part* of the community and help out. It is appreciated by me and the mods.

The report problem button is on the top right of every single post, and looks like this below:

Chat.

Also do not be afraid to report Moderators, we are here to serve, and as Jiggyfly said, make mistakes. We are not above being corrected, and appreciate any correcting to become more aware, and stronger, in the Things of God. Good intentions don't always mean good methods for the forum.

Even report a Moderator if you feel your being ganged up on, for whatever reason. There may be a better method or an approach to things we have not considered.

Chat:

If you have a issue in Chat, look for the moderators online at the bottom of the page under "What is going on"

You will see the team members listed there, just send them a P.M, we should get a pop up right away. Also if possible send a copy and paste of the offending Chat.

We try to be as fair as possible, and without the text evidence all we can do is build a case from there so to speak, when having that text would have made it possible to take action sooner.

Jesus Is Lord.

So true Brother jiggyfly! As a junior member of the staff,I am glad to look to older ones, for an example here. To be sensitive,to all is not always easy. But it is right. This I strive to do. For if love does not lead,in our actions, what good are our very words? This I dwell on, in what I do read. Thanks all!!

Also, never forget: Love covers a multitude of offenses. Forgive, and don't let a root of bitterness spring up within you, as that is a scheme of Satan.

Dear Chad (or whichever Admin)...I went online after about a year (I admit this was long). My AKA was Brother Paul and found someone has been posting and replying called "Brother-Paul". We are different people yet some might confuse us as being the same person. Now I am sure he is a brother so I am not distressed but I am a bit confused that the program would miss this (the GIGO principle saw the dash as a different name)...so what do I do to continue? Re-register as different AKA? Please reply...

Greetings brother

I have sent a report to Admin and asked what they suggest

Peace be with you

Brother-Paul (With the Dove of Peace icon)

Greetings brothers @Brother Paul and @Brother-Paul

Some of the Lord's disciples had the same names and that didn't matter:smile:

Yet by the amount of reported posts it seems an issue to you both.

Thank the Lord that you are both brothers in Christ
I'm sure the forum will work out the differences

And our dear admin brother @Chad will deal with a change if that's what you both really want

Thanks sister,

Maybe Brother Paul USA
and Brother-Paul UK with our different icons I have Dove of Peace, my brother I think has B.

Just a suggestion, I'm not sure what Brother Paul (B) thinks.

Good point you raise of the disciples with same names, Bless you.

Jesus is Lord.

I have so many posts on multiple threads using this AKA for nearly a decade...some may not theologically be the opinion of the other Brother-Paul. I have no problem using a different AKA since what is important is helping and sharing with others what the Lord has given. Since HE us both this is fine. For suture reference how can I view his other posts? Can I access him for permission or is there a way in the forum.

@Brother Paul ,

Greetings,

I can see how it might get a little confusing but at the same time, most Members here are not as stupid as me so they will probably be able to handle it.... unless you get the same avatar!

The Lord knows all these things so let us rejoice that He has a plan and look forward to see it unravelling.
Good to see you back and pasting after nearly four years.

Bless you ....><>

Dear Brother,
Don't you ever call yourself stupid again even in jest! You are beloved and cared for greatly brother. We are none perfect yet, so never don't figure you'll be the only one who might get confused on which Paul is being talked to! Either UKP or USP! Both brothers in Christ. We just all, and that includes others that might not realize the closeness of the names, need to remember that we are blessed to have two, to, too, :-) (couldn't resist) who go by Brother Paul! Which of course we count as a blessing upon blessing! But if confusion does happen, are we not a forgiving group of Christians?

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

I was just realizing the other day that there are two 'Brother Pauls' one with a hyphen and the other without. I took a double-take to make sure of who I was responding back to. :)

Stick with your name and don't stress over the other member with similar naming. It's not a big deal at all. Focus on Christ and edifying others here. That's all really.

Be blessed and thank you for being part of the community. You're appreciated.
