Dear Brothers & Sister,
If you've every had a discussion with Mormons, I wonder if you'd ever thought to address it as Francis Chan did in this telling.

With the Love of Christ Jesus, I hope you will enjoy this, but in truth it does have a question that we should really be asking ourselves.

I used to talk to Mormon missionaries every friday for 5 months. I don't know why they kept coming. But I can say that their beliefs aren't the type that is supported by reason. They have a faith that is blind to reason.

That's a sure sign that someone is being misled, probably by a demon or mental illness, when the person hears that all creeds are wrong. A lot of them are a little off maybe but to say all of them is just way over the top

The Mormons are very interesting people. I don't know how they justify the notion that the lost two tribes of Israel sailed to America (the Book of Mormon is just taken on faith), but that is a fascinating story. I'd love to investigate that fully, but I imagine that there's a deep end to it, and for serval reasons I just can't believe it. Those two tribes were wiped out, like the Virginia settlement (remember the Crotona affair?) I like Americana and East West Hemispheric musings and guesses too, even hyperbole and odd conjectures, but I can't justify the two missing Israeli tribes having sailed to America in the days of Ezekial.

That doesn't mean it isn't on my list of things to do. I'm saving it for my retirement library, though.
