For some time I've thought that a possible way to reverse the terrible decline in church attendance and belief in GOD might be to offer free baptisms from a base in a spacious ground with plenty parking and central to a large population.
I've only seen one tent meeting locally and that was years ago as passenger in a car whose driver refused to stop to check out dates and times etc.
The ground I have in mind has permament structures and presumably running water so could be economically outfitted with an immersion pool, changing/drying rooms, a dais to teach from and seating.
But in view of the great ignorance about GOD, Jesus and the Bible message I'd demand baptisees have some grasp of basic Bible doctrines in order to weed out the tares, pagans and heretics.
Can you all give me a few questions to put to potential baptisees to weed out the insincere?
