Freedom in Christ
Freedom Fighters Unite! All across this great land of America we celebrate Independence Day this 4th of July... But all across the globe, Christians everywhere are celebrating their Freedom in Christ. No other battle has lasted so long, nor been so destructive, as the war for the souls of men and women throughout our world. At times, years, decades, and even centuries have gone by with Satan seemingly getting his victory, as the darkness grows and evil prevails. But... God is always in control. He is always ready to swoop down and thwart the darkness. Jesus said that ALL power and authority had been given to him. We must simply ask and believe and He will gladly defend our freedom.
Jesus Christ came to set the captives free. People everywhere are in bondage to the prisons of their minds. Jesus said, "You shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free." What is this bondage-breaking Truth? How can I be freed from the dungeon of my dark and depraved thoughts? Jesus declared, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life." That's right, Jesus Christ is the Key of Truth that will unlock your prison cell and set you free for all eternity. Today you need to realize that the battle for your soul is a reality. You also need to understand that the enemy of your soul will eternally destroy you, unless you... According to James 4:7, "Submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee." Remember, before you go off fighting for your freedom, make sure you’re teamed up with the Commander of God's army, Jesus Christ. God be with us all...
