Gathering of the flock.

First blessing all!I have been led by Holy Spirit this morning to talk a little about what this both means, and why we have great need to always do it. We all gather among ourselves for many different reason, and events. We gather mostly with those,who we both wish to see,and know they also wish to see us.

We gather for any major event, birthdays,games of some kind,many different things. ( psalms 50:5) says Gather MY godly ones to ME,those who have made a covenant with ME by sacrifice! You see my brothers and sister to gather we sacrifice ourselves in order to gather.

We may sacrifice other family members on that day or time,just so we have a chance to gather with those we see so seldom. But whether we know it or not, there is always a sacrifice made, to do something else in our lives.

Jerusalem, Jerusalem who kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to GATHER your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings and ye would not.( Matt 23:37) The Lord is calling unto his flock,he is saying please gather with me.

Do not set yourselfs apart from me any longer,for it has been so long,and I desire thee to gather with me,to become protected,to be made safe,to be as one always should be.( Mark 13:27) And then he will send forth the angels, and will gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from the farthest end of the earth to the farthest end of heaven.

Later in the scripture as you can read for yourself he explains why. Verse 30 truly I say unto you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. verse 31 heaven and earth will pass away but MY WORDS will not pass away.

As Jesus was giving bread,and feeding the large crowd, and having blessed that which he was giving unto them Jesus said this!( john 6:12) When they were filled He said to his disciples, gather up the leftover fragments so that NOTHING!!! Will be lost! Many believe Jesus was talking about the bread,but with Jesus that which is unseen is eternal.( 1 Cor 4:18)

For after a gathering,what usually happens to the people? They forget about the reason they gathered in the first place,and think upon that which is next they have to do,or wish to do in there lives. This gathering the Lord in me is talking about is not just a one time gathering. It is a gathering to always be able to partake in, and of.

It is a gathering of becoming truly reconciled unto God.( 2 Cor 5:18-19) being committed! Committed to stay with, and in this gathering! Strong words indeed from a most loving God! But as with all things, there is now purpose for these words given unto us. Our conduct, working together, and gathering ourselves from the 4 corners right here,on TalkJesus to do such! ( 2 Cor 6:1-10!!)

It is time to gather my brothers and sisters,the time we all think we have, is running out.I am honored to be counted among so many wonderful brothers and sisters here at TalkJesus! God gave one man a vision,and caused this man Chad to bring not only God's people together to gather,but Jesus himself to gather among us all! Moses gathered,David Gathered,Jesus gathered,and we are also to gather.

I will not speak on those who do not gather,because we are not among those,because we already know the fate of them. What God himself has started even here, he is more then able to complete in us as well! Gather my brothers and sister,gather and do not be set apart by doctrine,or differences.

For in these things all will pass away. But those who have gathered around our Lord,shall not pass away,for Jesus is our Living Word,and we are gathered around him! May you, as I am be blessed by the wisdom of Almighty God!

For it is by HIS Word, not mine that these things shall come to pass,and it is by Jesus alone,us in HIM!! That we can preserve not only his Word in us,but the faith to act upon that which we know is the truth,and our very life!! In Jesus name I pray amen!

i don't understand why your posting this condemnation message in counseling section.. seems very judgemental to me especially this part of the message.
but i don't know what is that your really saying here?

i don't think it's right to judge anyone's faith or salvation regarding do they gather or not.

I don't think the message was condemning at all. What is being said is this...the things we disagree about here on earth...this things that bring discord will not matter in the end. It won't matter who was right or who was wrong because now and in the end there is only one who is right...God is righteous and that is what is going to matter that and do you know His Son Jesus Christ who laid down His life,shed His precious blood and rose again so that we could all gain redemption from our sins and reconcilation to God the Father in heaven. This is what matters my brothers and sisters...to gather ourselves to together with Jesus because the time is coming quickly and before we know it He will be returning for His bride...to gather us together to Him in heaven!

I too am so blessed to know so many brothers, sisters and friends in our Jesus and it's a privelege to come and worship and gather with you all here at Talk Jesus to share the love and joy of our Lord. Putting ourselves aside, lets all continue to gather together with Jesus and with each other worshipping and giving glory to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Brother Jari. If I put 2 cups of water before you,one was full, and the other was half full, which one would you drink from??

Why that would depend on how thirsty you are at the time! I have never condemned anyone here as you well know! The judgement you are rederning is not me,but rather what the point of my message was and is.

Which is to look at our own lives! I have pleanty to look at in my own life,rather to either comment on anyone other then myself. Since we are gathering together,those who are gathering want to make sure,that we are all well.

When reading the whole message, it seems very clear to me,what the meaning is. To those who have a rather lukewarm lifestyle,it makes sense to get ready for tough times. Because if we do not,then many will fall away from the faith they say they have.

What has disturbed me as of late here, is that some do nothing but point there fingers at others,not even knowing for sure what the message is?? Could I myself judge anothers mind?

There is no judgement in gathering or not,no one has to gather to the Lord! But you know as well as I do what happens to those who draw away from the Lord! What help can we have by our self? Could we before Jesus ever have made it?? I sure could have never done this.

Some look to make others feel small while puffing themselves up,this is not a good thing! So now that you have once again looked to do this to another,perhaps it is time to render unto yourself,what do you believe?

How can you HELP!!!!! another??? How can you make another here feel as you wish to?? There is not one among us who has all the answers, not in life,and surly not in the Lord.What I present are for those who are very thirsty! Perhaps you are not,but many are. It is not just for there sake,but mine that I present what the Lord has laid upon both my heart and my mind. Thank you for your concern!

i don't think we can judge any of God's children. not on this way as bible doesn't state anything like that. rom 8:1

all saved are in christ Jesus and have God's holy spirit. Romans chapter 8 states this.

In short to become accountable to our relationship between us and the Lord. That is really the point to the message. It is not about how others judge another,only that we look to judge our self more,to place our self in check.2 Cor 13:5 To do our best in Jesus.If we gather we can see one another closer. Not to judge, but to learn from others!

Thanks for elaborating BH. Can a gathering be anywhere and any time two or three share Christ with each other? Like at Walmart, Piggly Wiggly or a football game?

Thanks Mariah!, and Jiggyfly! To Jiggyfly I laughed right our loud after hearing what you said!! LOL I do want to make something very clear,to some who believe I place works, above what is freely given by Jesus in our salvation. I do not believe we are saved by works. I believe we have works because we are saved. We cannot buy salvation!! I am not ever looking to,beside I do not have enough money, to even think of buying it!!LOL My only point to salvation, is that I treasure Jesus so much for what he has done for me,that I want to do my very best in him is all.

All I wish to ever do, is encourage you all to DO!!! To become accountable, as I believe we are to be, with such a wonderful gift we have so freely received!

The Blood Jesus shed for me, is not cheap to me,i just never want anyone to treat his blood, as if by his blood we can now do anything we wish to do,and still believe we are believers. We are believers not just because we say we believe,but in our action by our very faith.

That is being saved to me. We will make mistakes!! Dear Lord I make them daily in my own life,and I remind Jesus of my weakness not as an excuse,but as a comfort,for he knows my heart, and my mind.He is my Father,and I love him enough to care. That is all I wish for all of us to do.
