I just wanted to ask anyone if it is possible that anyone here can help me with one small question....


Is it possible that just as you are about to pass away that you can still go to heaven and be saved? I have heard that even tho you haven't been a christian in your life or followed the faith you can still go to heaven even moments before you pass because God can have mercy on you?

Is this true or not?

As far as I know Francesca, it is possible right until the end to be saved - as long as you can still ask Jesus to forgive your sins. It's not wise to rely on this though because none of us know how life will end for us and if we will be able to do that.

Sunshine said it well. The possiblity lies so long as we are still breathing. Once you pass away, its either eternal life or eternal damnation.

John 3:18
“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”
