Do not have your concert first, and then tune your instrument afterwards. Begin the day with the Word of God and prayer, and get first of all into harmony with Him.

--Hudson Taylor, 21 May 1832 – 3 June 1905, missionary to China, and founder of the China Inland Mission (CIM -- now OMF International).

Yes @stephen amen
Such true words

I have the book Hudson Taylor In Early Years
In one of his letters that are quoted in the book he writes:

But Jesus is so lovely, so precious! All must sink in comparison to Him...
...Can we do too much for Him? Can we do too much for such a Saviour?

His praise shall continually be in my mouth
Psalm 34:1
