Romans 8:6 - For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. A lot of times when people hear spiritual they think not real or less real than the physical, but that is not the case. Before there was anything physical there was spiritual. And when the physical is done with there will always be spiritual. If anything, the spiritual is more real than the physical. The spiritual can exist without the physical, but the physical can not exist without the spiritual. Just look at you when your spirit leaves your body what happens, it ceases to function. Why, because nothing can exist in this physical world without having a spiritual component/a spiritual part/or spiritual side and when that is taken away the physical thing will cease to exist. Numbers 16:41-50 But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the Lord. 42 And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the Lord appeared. 43 And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation. 44 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 45 Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces. 46 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the Lord; the plague is begun. 47 And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people. 48 And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed. 49 Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah. 50 And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the plague was stayed.

Notice, that plague had a spiritual component, sin. You see that in Numbers 21:7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord, and against thee; pray unto the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. And from that sin(which was spiritual) there came a physical manifestation of a plague. But, when atonement was made what happened? First of all what is atonement, it means- to cover/to placate or cancel/appease/ to cleanse. So, when Aaron made atonement for the people it was for their sin which is what brought the plague. So, what happened is it was cut off in the spirit. They took away the spiritual basis of it (it's foundation). And without that spiritual component it could no longer exist here in the physical. That's with any sickness if you cut it off in the spirit it can no longer exist in your physical body. Everything in the physical has a spiritual and a physical side. And the physical side is dependent on the spiritual side for it's existence, it can't exist without it. And everything material originates in the spiritual. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him (so all physical things originate in the spiritual). Your car, your phone, your clothes, your house originated in the spiritual. Man is spirit. So, some man had that idea/thought/or image on the inside first. If it doesn't start inside(spirit) you will not see it outside(physical). God is the original creator, He made all things. God didn't make a car, He created the materials that makes the car. Man takes the materials God created and he makes the car. And both God the creator and man the maker are spirit. So, all material things come from spirit. So, the physical realm is simply a manifestation of the spiritual realm. The physical realm came out of the spiritual. So, let's call the spirit realm, The Parent Realm, because it gave birth to the physical realm. So, let's call the physical realm , The Child Realm, because it was birthed. As such the spiritual realm has authority over the physical realm.

So, you don't have to put up with the dictates of this physical realm because Jesus said something in John 8:31,32- 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Make you free from what, contrary facts. What are facts-Fact is basically something that exists, or is present in reality. Hence, these are things that can be seen visually, and these are the things that can actually be verified. It is not just something that you believe, but rather these are more or less the things that can be observed empirically, or by the senses. So, facts can be seen and heard, as well as proven by the other senses (So, facts are physical). What is truth- Truth can be described as the true state of a certain matter. And in John 17:17 Jesus referring to God's word said, Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. And John 6:63 Jesus again referring to God's word said, It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. So, facts are physical and truth is spiritual. Now, here is where being spiritually minded pays off because facts can be proven by the sense. Truth is not always detectable to the senses. For example God told Abraham in Genesis 17:4,5 For a father of many nations have I made thee(truth). And yet Romans 4:19 says, his body was dead and his wife's womb was dead(fact). So, physically their bodies were in a condition where they could not have a child. And yet God said, I have made thee a father of many nations(past tense), meaning something had already been done about their conditions. But, whatever was done about their conditions was not detectable to their physical senses. Because, God was telling him something that was already done in the spiritual realm. Now, here's the thing not only do material come from spiritual, but spiritual can become material, physical. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

1 John 1:1,2 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;(and the word is spirit) 2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us). Jesus was not in the beginning, John 1:1 says in the beginning was the word. Jesus is the physical manifestation of the word. We just read that the word is life and that life is spiritual, and yet he is telling us that they have seen that life(physically) and that their hands has handled that life(physically). 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh. Now, back to Hebrews 11, Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. The things that are done in the spirit, faith is the substance and evidence of them. Matthew 17:19,20-- 19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? 20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Let's break this down, (1). If you have faith as a seed-you can't have faith for something that does not already exist. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, how can you have the substance of something if there's no thing. If there's no thing you can't have the substance of it. Faith as a seed, you can't have an apple seed unless there was first an apple. The fruit has to exist in the physical first in order for you to have the seed. So likewise, the thing has to exist in the spirit first before you can have the substance of it. (2). ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove. The faith you have needs to be released, and you release it by speaking . You receive what you release. They didn't release anything so they didn't receive anything. What did Jesus say to the centurion, that came to him for him to heal his servant, after he told Jesus he didn't have to come to his house, just speak the word only and my servant will be healed, I have not found so great faith. Notice, how Jesus knew he had such great faith, by what he spoke.

And notice, Jesus response- As thou hast believed so be it done unto you. In other words as you have released so be done unto you. As he released he received. What did Jesus say to the woman with the issue of blood, And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. What did she speak or release, "If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be made whole." And what did she receive, 27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. What she released she received. Notice how Jesus knew their faith and how was it released, by their words. Well, Luke 6:45 says, A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. That's why God changed their names from Abram-High Father to Abraham-Father of a multitude and from Sarai-My Princess to Sarah-Princess of the multitude for a release of their faith to receive what He had already done. We know Romans 10:17, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. And it worked for Hebrews 11:11 says, Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. And Romans 4:20 referring to Abraham says, He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. What they released they received. It doesn't even matter if there's a shortage in the material, physical world, if it's not in the physical it can exist in the spiritual and what's in the spiritual can become material, physical. 2Kings 4:38-44: 38 And Elisha came again to Gilgal: and there was a dearth in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him: and he said unto his servant, Set on the great pot, and seethe pottage for the sons of the prophets. 39 And one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and came and shred them into the pot of pottage: for they knew them not. 40 So they poured out for the men to eat. And it came to pass, as they were eating of the pottage, that they cried out, and said, O thou man of God, there is death in the pot. And they could not eat thereof. 41 But he said, Then bring meal. And he cast it into the pot; and he said, Pour out for the people, that they may eat. And there was no harm in the pot. 42 And there came a man from Baalshalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corn in the husk thereof. And he said, Give unto the people, that they may eat. 43 And his servitor said, What, should I set this before an hundred men? He said again, Give the people, that they may eat: for thus saith the Lord, They shall eat, and shall leave thereof. 44 So he set it before them, and they did eat, and left thereof, according to the word of the Lord.

Notice, that man knew he did not have enough food to feed all of those men that's why he was afraid to set it down before them. But, notice the man of God, "Give the people, that they may eat: for thus saith the Lord, They shall eat, and shall leave thereof." He was not looking at what the man had in his hands, he was looking at and releasing his faith for what God had in the spirit. And as a result they did all eat. There is never a shortage with God. Notice, whatever there was a shortage of God already had in the spirit, all it had to do was be manifested by faith, and that's what the man of God did. Why by faith, because the spirit/heart of a man is the gateway of the spirit into the physical. It has to come through you in order to come to you. Mankind has the authority in the earth and spiritual is not permitted to crossover without man's say so. Matthew 16:19 AMPC Version- I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven. Notice, it's already bound or loosed in heaven, but for it to be done in the earth it has to be through mankind. It's not just done in the earth because it's in heaven, no, someone has to exercise their spiritual authority. Spirit has authority over physical. So, the spirit realm needs to be given some more attention. I see why Paul said, 2 Corinthians 4:17,18: For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. If you just look at the problem most likely you'll never get the answer. Say you took a test and got one of the questions wrong if you just look at the question you got wrong and never look for the answer then most likey you'll never find the answer. If you have a problem in the physical there is an answer in the spiritual, but if you just look at the problem in the physical, then most likely you'll never see your answer in the spiritual. So, don't look at the spiritual as not real or less real than the physical, God is no less real as spirit as when He was manifested in the flesh. They are just two different realms of existence. One you can detect with your senses and the other you can't, but it's still real.

It is not God's will that any should perish. And I wouldn't want to end this article without giving someone the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess that Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen
