Matthew 7:17,18 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Matthew 12:33 33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
Notice, Jesus kept talking about fruit, fruit represents a manifestation of something, it's the product of something. Notice a point he's making what you can see is the result or product of what you can't see. The fruit above ground is only the result or product of what's happening underground where you can't see. You can also apply that on a deeper level to the spiritual and the physical, Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Again what you can see is the result or product of what you can't see. So, the physical was made by the spiritual. The physical is upheld by the spiritual-Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. God uses the spiritual to change the physical 1 Corinthians 1:26-28 26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: 27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are. Things that are not manifested and not things that don't exist, how can you use something that doesn't exist, by him calling it a thing means it exists just on another level. Like you there's flesh you (can see) and spirit you (can't see) and yet is just as real as what is seen if not more real because spirit you is eternal flesh you is not.
The physical is ruled by the spiritual-Psalm 103:19 The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. Is his kingdom a physical kingdom or spiritual kingdom, spiritual. You overcome the physical by the spiritual- 1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Faith is based on the spiritual not the physical material realm. Everything about the physical is dependent on the spiritual. Everything seen (physical) has it's roots in the unseen (spiritual). So, the physical realm is only the fruit of the spirit realm, it is a product of the spiritual. And as fruit it is dependent on something in the unseen for it's existence, it's roots. Once you cut something off in the spirit then the fruit of it will cease. Just like a flower, if you see a nice pretty flower in someone's garden and you go and clip it you have just limited it's existence. At some point it will wither and die, because you separated it from what it was dependent on, it's roots. If you are going to get to the root of things you are going to have to deal with the spiritual. And because the roots are in the spiritual let's call the spiritual the source realm. And because the physical is the fruit let's call it the product realm. Now, understand the product can not do anything separate from it's source. God spoke to me, it's just like your reflection or your shadow they are a product of you. You are the source and according to what you do, the source they will do. Example-How many times have you looked in a mirror and smiled and your reflection frowned, never. Because, it can not do anything different. And if you take you away (the source) there can be no reflection. So likewise, if you take away the spiritual component there can be no manifestation or product of it.
Notice, Romans 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. God establishes something in the spiritual to get a different manifestation in the physical. Something first has to be a spiritual reality before it can be physical reality. Example: In Genesis 17:4,5 God told Abraham, "Thou shalt be a father of many nations." But, when God said that Romans 4:19 says his body was dead and a person with a dead body can not be a father of many nations, but regardless of that in verse 5 God told him, for a father of many nations have I made thee. So, that was reality in the spiritual, but not yet manifested in the physical. So, God changed his name from Abram-high father to Abraham-father of a multitude. God had him to call things that be not as thou they were to establish the spiritual to get a different manifestation in the physical. In Joel 3:10 says, "Let the weak say, I am strong." Notice, God told them to call things that be not as though they were. The scriptures says, The Lord is our strength. So, God told them to establish the spiritual to get a different manifestation in the physical. Once you establish something different in the spiritual than what's present in the physical it no longer has a basis for being here in the physical and will have to cease. Once Abraham established, I am a father of many nations, when what he established manifested his dead body ceased and he had what he established. That's what 1 Corinthians 1:28 says, God uses things which are not to bring to nought things that are. When what you establish in the spirit manifest then the manifestation that was there will cease. So, when you keep speaking the present circumstances or conditions then what you are doing is helping to maintain it's existence.
If you want something different then you are going to have to speak something different to establish something different to manifest something different. For example look at David when he fought Goliath he didn't talk circumstance, because naturally Goliath should have flattened him like a bug, but look how he spoke. 1 Samuel 17:45-47-- 45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied 46 This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. 47 And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give you into our hands. Notice, David established the victory in the spirit before he fought physically. Once David established the victory in the spirit Goliath was a dead man walking. Notice, where was the victory determined, in the spiritual. Outcomes are not determined in this physical material realm. Notice, when the two blind men came to Jesus to be healed in Matthew 9:27-29, what did Jesus say to him, "According to your faith so be it unto you." Faith deals with the spiritual which means the outcome was not determined by natural means, but by spiritual means. What did Jesus tell the centurion in Matthew 8, that told him, "Speak the word only and my servant shall be healed" "I have not found such great faith/as thou hast believed so be it done unto you." So, where was the outcome determined, in the spiritual.
The same thing with the woman with the issue of blood that said, "If I may touch but his clothes I shall be whole" what did Jesus tell her, "Your faith has made you whole." Which mean the outcome was determined in the spiritual. What they established in the spiritual was the outcome they got manifested in the physical. Job 22:28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. In every situation there is a key or truth that will deal with that situation. Notice, what Jesus said in John 8:31,32 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Notice, the truth will make you free, that is the truth that you establish. Now, understand Jesus said the truth will make you free, but make sure you don't confuse facts with truth. Because, something can be a fact and yet not truth. Just because something is present in this physical material realm doesn't mean it's truth. John 17:17 says that God's word is truth. Fact is basically something that exists, or is present in reality. Hence, these are things that can be seen visually, and these are the things that can actually be verified. It is not just something that you believe, but rather these are more or less the things that can be observed empirically, or by the senses. So, facts can be seen and heard, as well as proven by the other senses. So, facts deals with what can be detected by the senses. And what people mistakenly do is think that just because something is detectable to the senses that it's truth, but not so. Truth can be described as the true state of a certain matter. Truth is not always detectable to the senses. When God told Abraham, for a father of many nations have I made thee, he had no way of verifying that by his senses, but it was truth.
The truth can't make you free if you keep establishing facts thinking it's truth because it's what's presently manifested. Just because it's manifested doesn't mean it's truth. So, God gives you a way to know what's truth and what's fact. If it's in line with his word then it's truth if not it's fact. 2 Corinthians 4:17,18--- 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. The things which are seen are temporal (facts)/the things which are not seen are eternal (truth). Notice, it tells you not to focus on what's seen(the facts), but on what's not seen(the truth). Facts can't stand against truth. The truth is based on the spiritual because nothing physical is eternal. Notice, he tells you not to focus on what's seen because if it's seen it's just fruit. See, stop dealing with fruit and get to the root. Notice, God is trying to get man to stop operating out of his flesh, but operate out of his spirit. You are spirit, so God speaks to you which is spirit, He doesn't speak to flesh you. He's trying to get man back to where he fell from. Man fell from getting his knowledge from God to getting his knowledge from his senses. When God brought the animals to Adam, notice it says God brought them to Adam to see what he would call them not name them. They had names, but God wanted to see if he would call them what He called them. And it's that way today, are you calling things the way God says or according to what your flesh says. That's why He says to hold fast to your confession of faith, confession- to say the same thing. It' like God is saying I know you see one thing, but agree with me. I know you feel one thing, but agree with me. Let me be your source of knowledge and not your flesh, I know the truth.
God is not telling you to speak something just to be speaking. He's trying to enlighten you to there's something there outside of the range of your senses. Just because your flesh can detect something doesn't mean that's all there is. There's the reality of where flesh you resides, in this physical material realm(which is fact) and there's the reality of where spirit you resides, in the spiritual(which is truth). And what He is trying to do is get people to stop speaking facts and start speaking truth.
And when you call things that be not(manifested) as thou they are(manifested) you are calling something from one realm, the spiritual into another realm the physical. This is a physical material realm and things that are spiritual don't profit you here until they manifest physical. Where it says God calleth things that be not, the word call means to "call forth" and one meaning of the word forth is "out". Like when Jesus called out to Lazarus to do what, come forth. He called him out of where he was. And that's what you have been given the ability and authority to do, to call things forth from one realm into another. That's why faith deals with the spiritual because it takes you outside of your senses, outside of your flesh. When you do something by faith you operate outside of your senses, because your senses have no way of verifying what you do by faith. Faith deals with you operating out of your spirit not out of your flesh. Faith is operating on a higher level than your senses. Faith deals with taking you out of the physical material and into the spiritual where your senses have no way of verifying what you are believing for.
You are not just flesh you are also spirit and there are finished works of God where you are, spirit you. And those finished works are just as real as anything you can detect with your senses. Spirit is just as real as physical if not more real. God who is spirit (John 4:24) is just as real as when He was manifested in the flesh (1Timothy 3:16). Remember this the fruit is physical, but the root is spiritual. So, when you want to change something you have to deal with it at the root level. When you cut if off in the spirit the manifestation will cease and what you establish will manifest. Once you cut something off in the spiritual the manifestation of it will have to cease. It doesn't matter what sickness, what virus, what germ it has it's roots in the spiritual. So, once you cut it off in the spiritual it will cease. Take Jesus for instance in John 5 there was a man at The Pool Of Bethesda that had a condition for 38 years, he was unable to walk. And Jesus came up to him and said it him, "Rise, take up thy bed, and walk." Wait a minute, the man is in no condition to do that physically so why would Jesus say that. Because, he was establishing his healing in the spiritual, because for him to do that he first has to be healed. And notice what happened the man's condition ceased. By Jesus establishing the man's healing in the spiritual the man's condition in the physical had to cease. Because, whatever you cut off in the spiritual the condition in the physical will have to cease. So, get to the root and stop just dealing with the fruit.
It is not God's will that any should perish. And I wouldn't want to end this article without giving someone the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12). 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Romans 5:8-10 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. [10] For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 2 Peter 3:9 King James Version 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Matthew 12:33 33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
