For a while I am close to God and good about reading the Bible, but it seems the closer I get to Him the harder and farther I fall away from Him later, it's driving me crazy:( This time I got really far from Him, the most thing that comforts me is I can feel Him calling me, thats what made me come on here.
There's a bad part in me and a good part, the bad part did not want me to come on here and my stomach literally started hurting when I did. It's like I keep hiding from God and I feel horrible when I go to church or read the Bible. The bad part of me wants to do bad and be numb to God but I can feel Him. When I do get back to Him I get more bummed out for some reason but when I'm away from Him I can ignore it. I so badly want to be by Him, but it seems things get harder when I do. Sorry for rambling on, I'm just so sad.

Whatever you eat and allow to be brought to the forefront within you is what you are or what you are to become. In other words, if you consume garbage all of the time via friends, co-workers, relatives, movies, the Internet, etc. that is building up the things of death within you instead of the things of Life

If, however, you are consuming all of the time, scriptures, good Christian fellowship, etc, that is building up the things of Life within you.

Paul speaks of an "old man" and a new or "inner man". The old man is the one who continues to want to consume the garbage. The new or inner man is the one who wants to consume the good things that God has provided.

Most believers are a mixture, IMHO, of the two. There is no doubt that the new or inner man (born again) is able to conquer the old man... but you must give the go ahead. You must turn the reins of yourself over to the Holy Ghost. It not only is not easy: it may be impossible to do so... alone.

Feed the new inner man (with good things of God including worship, prayer and Bible reading) and starve the old man. We are what we eat, so eat the right things and avoid the wrong ones. Ask for help every time it seems to be impossible.

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:" Matt 7:7

When we eat the right things, the Holy Ghost within will bring them to Life (Jesus).

aw love, Father does not sit in an office with His big Book on His lap, with one eye on the big clock over the mantle waiting impatiently for you to show up at your strictly scheduled meetings .... You feel horrible because someone or something gave you the idea Father is like a school Principle ...ready to punish you if you are not on time and have`nt done your lessons...

First of all, Father does not own a clock, never created one, did`nt buy a man-made one...lets toss that notion right off.

Second, and most importantly...Father did create YOU, and oh how He delights in you!

I dont know if your real name is Rachael, but if it is let me show you something...

Has no one told you Father has said "Schools out!" *RING!* Listen...the Bell is still ringing for everyone who will listen!

Galations 3:25 "After that faith is come, we are no longer under a Schoolmaster."

Again He has said, "You are FREE"

GalAtions 5:1 "Christ has set us free! This means we are really free."

Now picture a little girl let out of class...shes wandering in a field, running across a bridge, playing in a brook, reading a book under a tree, taking a nap, she is delighting in exploring and discovering the world around her...and her Father is delighting in watching her grow and play ...

Now, do you wonder where Father is?

Why He has followed you!

Psa 37:23 A man's steps are established by the LORD, and the LORD delights in his way.
Psa 37:24 Though he stumbles, he will not fall down flat, for the LORD will hold up his hand.

Now read that again and put yourself in the picture...

Psa 37:23 [Rachaels] steps are established by the LORD, and [Father] delights in [her] way.
Psa 37:24 Though [she] stumbles, [she] will not fall down flat, for [Father] will hold [her] hand.

Do you see Him? He is right there delighting in watching you, His beautiful daughter!

Did you trip over a root, or a rock, or did something cause you to wander into danger...no worries... Hes always close enough to grab your hand!

Did you get upset, and say, or do something that you should`nt have...Father will gently correct you and show you how to do better next time...and the next time..and the next time...Father is most patient....He has all the time in the world to teach you, because like I said, He does`nt own a clock...or a calender. :`)

Father also thrills at being the One to teach you His ways, in helping you learn everything you need to know so you may enjoy the life He has given you..

Did you not hear Him say "Rachael, I will NEVER leave you, and I will NEVER give up on you!"

Hebrews 13:5 "I will never leave you nor forsake you."

And again:

Heb 13:6 [He tells us this] So we can confidently say, "[Father] is my helper; I will not fear; [no harm will come to me]" - [paraphrased]

Now do you understand that no matter where you go, there Father is!? There is no "getting back to God" because He IS wherever you are. There can only be a turning of your to face to Him with adoration that overflows from a captivated heart, ever believing in Him and trusting Him, because of all HIS goodness He has shown towards you....and you aint seen nothing yet! :`)

This life is not about rules and [church] buildings and books Rachael, its about being His much loved daughter...and about growing in grace and knowledge and love towards Him in return...simply because of how kind, loving, generous, patient, understanding, faithful, wonderful ...(never ending story) He is towards you...

Love is a growing thing Racheal...dont fret over the small beginnings of your little plant...or the growing pains...especially dont fret over those....'spiritual' scraped knees and bruises and emotional outbursts and mud splatters are all simply pretty good reminders that we are still growing ...but Father takes care of all that too.

I am so little and weak, but Father is so big and so strong. :`)

My friend, are you born again?
If so you are a daughter of the Most High and He will not reject you simply because you struggle.
If not then ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, He will come into your life and give you a new heart.

That being said:
Everyone has darkness (the flesh), and everyone has light (their spirit), - these are always at war. Which one wins? The one that is fed.
Spend at least a hour a day in worship.
Read your bible daily.
Talk to God all day, as you maintain an attitude of prayer all day long.
If you press in and remain consistent in these things you will see victory.
Many blessings in Jesus Name,
your brother Larry.

Television News have some good moments and some bad ones, and just be glad that you don't end up becoming headline news in the bad category. It would be good if the headlines showed you off as being a hero for saving someone's life, or giving up your lotto win to support the children's hospital charity fund - rarely anyone does but just saying how your heart is to help someone less fortunate than yourself even if our feelings are at war with Satan's deception that seems to be non-stop since Adam and Eve had to bite that forbidden fruit from the beginning of human life. Jesus works silently in the background, actually in our hearts, to keep sin off limits to our sensitive positive fruits from becoming rotten .:
I pray that our future with Jesus will be a super-joyful crime-free one, once he returns and transforms us with super-intelligent minds so that forgetfulness, conversation-stuttering, mistaken words in speech will not be present to slow our desire to turn "impossible" creative ideas into reality as we live together inside the green clean city environment of God's kingdom on a new disaster-proof Earth .;*;.
