[GFA Update] GFA Pastor Beaten for Three Hours

Greetings to you today in the name of Jesus.

As you go to the grocery store this week, you probably can't imagine a mob surrounding you and physically attacking you for your Christian faith.

Yet just last month, this is exactly what happened to Pastor Kiran, one of our native missionaries laboring for the Gospel in North India.

By God's grace, this young pastor has been filled with incredible courage to continue his ministry--and even a prayer in his heart for his attackers, that they, too, would know his Jesus.

As you read his story below, I trust you'll be inspired in your own Christian walk and will also remember to pray for our precious brother and his wife and two children.

I wonder Chad how many of our brothers and sisters woud take a beating? I for one would!!! How about a step further and die? I would!! While most of us sit safely in our homes we need to remember our brothers and sisters who are risking life to spread the love of Jesus! You have to ask yourself " Would I still love the Lord with the zeal that I do if it wasnt so safe?"


I asked myself this question awhile ago and was sad by my response( and it was myself). I have now prayed and asked God to forgive me for such a wishy washy belief. (Now at that time I did not realize it until I asked and truly thought it thru).


So I urge everyone to really think out the question. Not just read this and go "of course!" Ask yourself really think on it. Some may also be shocked by the anwser. The best thing is that God forgives and HE will help you grow to where you know that no matter what you will stand there for Him and spread the word!
