Indian Independence Day, August 15, is a very special holiday for the people of the world's largest democracy. And for students of Gospel for Asia Biblical Seminary in Kerala, it also provides an opportunity to proclaim an even greater kind of liberty.
This year, on Independence Day in a South Indian village, people were standing along the streets, watching patriotic-themed skits and drama performed by some of our seminary students.
What they may not have realized at first was they were about to hear the best news ever--that Jesus loves them and offers eternal freedom.
