Global Day of Prayer

Have any of you heard of the Global Day of Prayer? What do you all think about it?

We just had the global day of prayer here in Calgary on May 15, 2005....as did many other countries around the globe! I must say it was so amazing to experience such a thing!! I believe in the power of prayer....and to see thousands of Calgarians...MY OWN NEIGHBOURS praying for all the other countries......It was incredible!! I just thought i'd share my experience. I'll be writing an article for my high school paper on it, and hopefully it'll turn some heads at my school.

That is awesome I have heard of it for the first time recently and thought it was really nice to hear a prayer holiday so to speak. But again, we should pray all the day long, every day, every person
