GOD Does Care!
Yes, GOD does care about us, all. GOD wants to be a friend to us all! HE doesn't want us to get hurt or cause us harm in anyway! {Ezekiel 33:11}
And this is why HE gave us Rules & Regulations to follow. {Proverbs 3:1- 35/ 4:1-27/ 5:1-23}
In accepting GOD'S friendship, means accepting HIS Rules & Regulations.
It also means communicating with HIM as well. Excepting HIM in our daily lives {in every thing we do}. And when we don't, then we're {in a sense} pushing HIM aside -or- away. Therefore we are weakening our friendship with GOD, instead of adding strength to it.
Think about it! When we start ignoring our friends, they seem to go away. But, when we pay attention to them, the friendship seems gets more stronger than before. The same it is, with our relationship with GOD.
Meaning; To keep our friendship with GOD, we should listen to what HE has to say & trust in HIM. {Proverbs 1:33/ 7:24/ 22:19/ & Matthew 17:5} And never ignore HIM! Talking to HIM often through prayers, {as though HE were standing right next to us, because, in a sense HE really is}.
Telling HIM all about our day, whether it was a good day or a bad day. We shouldn't just go to HIM when we are in trouble! But if you are in trouble, by all means go to HIM!
BUT, we also, should be telling HIM how much we enjoy having HIM around & expressing our love for HIM to HIM! Trust me, though HE may already know these things, HE still wants to hear it from us!
For that my friend is TRUE PRAISE, a dedicated to HIM, straight from YOUR very own Heart, Soul & Mind!
For giving praise to GOD isn't just at Church, but anywhere & at anytime.
And though GOD is The Most High of all! This does not mean that HE doesn't want us to accept HIM as a friend, by all means, HE does want to be friends!

In excepting GOD'S friendship, means excepting HIS Rules & Regulations.
quote from the O.P.

Amen dear friend amen.

I would just add that progress begins with a getting to know Jesus. Yes God does care about everybody. That is true.

But when we accept Jesus as our Savour (John ch 3) we become born again, and in that relationship of being born again we become "sons" of God. We become "new people in Christ Jesus"

Thanks for posting...

Great post and very encouraging sister thank you for sharing this.

Thank you Chad!
And thank you, too, stephen. Accepting Jesus, is very importand & showing our love for Jesus {Christ} is truly a loving thing to do. For He did Lovingly & Bravley died for us all, in The HOPE that we would be saved. But we must always remember, too, that The One & Only Almighty GOD, was there before Jesus & it was HE who the Abraham, Jacob, Moses & Job {& many others before Jesus Christ} Worshipped & obeyed . {Exodus 6:3}

I missed this post somehow before and found it today. Great post, Jonah!

I miss you. Where have u been?

Your post is very uplifting and thank you. However.............
There has never been a time that was "before Jesus Christ." The 1st chapter of John states; Amp version: 1. "That in the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. ( refer to Isa.9:6). 2. He was present originally with God. 3. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being. 4. In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men."
Christ Jesus is and has always been the "Great I am!" of Exodus 3:14 and of Exodus 6:3.

Amen, all glory to the Son of God!

Joh 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Joh 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Amp. version, Daniel 7:13-14:
I saw in the night visions, and behold, on the clouds of the heavens came One like a Son of man, and He came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before Him.
And there was given Him [the Messiah] dominion and glory and kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away, and His kingdom is one which shall not be destroyed. [refer to Rev. 5:1-10.]

Hallelujah, amen!!! .......jmh137
