..So Thursday, I'm at work.. I'm an electrician by trade. My youngest son started working with me about 6 months ago..
He's 18. ..Yes girls, he's cute ..didn't call him hansom growin up for nothing.. ; )
Anyways.. so we're on the job when I hear from across the room an OHH..! AHH..! sound.
I looked over. He was about 30 feet away from me, and I saw him bent over with hands clutching himself around the face.
Caution now for those who don't like the gory details... a wire came up and around, and had poked his right eye.
He was holding both hands over his eye, and it was obvious what had happened and how serious it appeared to be.
I guided him out and over to the work van, got him sat down in his seat, made a quick pick up of our tools and it was off to the doctor. One very, very fortunate (err.. providential) aspect to this, is that one of the guys on the job site who had had an eye accident last year, told me where he had gone for his situation. It was an eye clinic and had several eye doctors. We wouldn't have to wait in ER for our turn on the priority list of the 'to be seens'.
Sure enough, he had scratched his cornea just below the pupil. The doctor prescribed some anti-biotics for him to take, and we were off to the pharmacy. By this time, he was already able to open his eye again, and was able to tell a difference looking thru one verses the other.
Later that evening he returned from going to the store. He had a bottled beverage in his hand from Sobe.
It was one of his favorites.. Black and Blue berry brew. Very tasty I might add. Have had one myself.
He showed me the cap to the bottle. The underside of the cap that is.. it has a little message on all of them. ...It said:
THE EYES
You read right..! Thats what it said! I reread it a couple times. Thats what it said
So what to do you think? Does God hold some stocks in Sobe? He certainly got our attention ; )
