God is the same yesterday, today and forevermore
Let's talk about the birth of the Christian Church. This event is recorded in your Bible in Acts chapter 2. The followers of Christ are all meeting together in one place and are of one mind and heart, obeying the command of Jesus to wait for the Power of His Holy Spirit to fill them. Signs, wonders, and miracles break forth as God's Spirit fills each believer. They recall God's written Word from the book of Joel, stating that He would one day pour out His Spirit on all mankind. Peter holds an impromptu revival meeting, preaching Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and about 3,000 people get saved, baptized, and filled with God's Spirit.
This new 'Christian Church' is so on fire that they meet daily for teaching, prayer, and fellowship. Their transformation is so deep that they even begin to willingly sell their possessions and give to whoever has a financial need. And God continues to move in their midst, keeping everyone, even those outside the church, in awe of His Presence. What a glorious beginning! Two thousand years later and God still has the same plan, for "With the Lord a thousand years is but a day." You see, just a couple of 'days' ago all this was happening, and it can happen again right now. Open your heart, your life, and your mind to Jesus Christ today. Let Him fill your life with love, faith, and hope. Allow Christ to empower your life with His Divine Holy Spirit. Follow the disciples' path to unlock God's POWER in your life - Pray, Obey, Worship, Encounter, and Read. God be with you all...
