God Lives To Serve You
Did you know that the God of the universe lives to serve you? That's right. Just like good parents serve their children in love, so our Heavenly Father finds joy in reaching down and meeting our needs. The Bible teaches that God receives glory through us as He hears and answers our prayers. He delights in bringing us fullness of joy by giving us good gifts.
In fact, it actually offends God when we become too "grown up and mature" to depend on Him for everything. Imagine that! The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords loves you and waits for you to seek Him in prayer. He delights in answering your prayers and in showering you with heavenly blessings from above. Listen to the remarkable words from John 15. "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit." Let these eternal, living words of life renew your heart. Let faith, hope and trust spring forth.
