One day 3 soldiers became lost in the jungle, they became so fearful and frightened, they did nothing to help themselves out of the jungle, and a week later were found by a large tree, all dead because they choose to die in shame! Many believers are doing this today,so unhappy and looking for God to do something, when it is they themselves who need to do something! For Jesus came to save those who were lost, but for those who are lost need to do something as well! A man became stuck in a large hole,he yelled and prayed for help, finally a rope came down to him tied to a tree, and the man who found him told him to pull himself up from the hole using the rope, the man replied I am waiting on the Lord to help me!

He also died in shame. The word of God presented to us is our rope, but if we decide to not use it,looking for God to do something supernatural, we also could die in shame. For belief is not about waiting, but doing as well.( james 1:22) believing God is acting on that belief! For what good is it if a man loses his job and cries at home, without looking for a new job he is praying for? i was once like this brothers and sisters and had it not been for the grace and love of the Lord I to could have died in shame! When I prayed to the Lord about a job I needed,Holy Spirit asked me how many hours I work on a job,I said 8, then would it not be correct to look for a job for 8 hours a day until one is had?

While also thanking me for the job I have given you to? Within 3 days i had a better job. But this would not have happened for me unless I had done something as well as speak something! For words are much more powerful after action is seen from ones own belief. This is just a thought for someone who needs to hear this,I do not know who this can be,but someone needs this! Whenever something in my life seems to turn sour,i first look at unforgivness in my own life. We of course may have very good reason for this, but it does not help our cause, nor our belief in our faith. Please read 1 cor 13:4-8 through the aphlified bible.

One could teach for days even weeks upon these 4 verses! How do we line up with what love is? Love is not self seeking! This kind of love is divine love, God's love. For self love seeks only ones self. Paul also knew he had not yet been prefected in this love, and so he states in Phil 3:12-14" Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect,BUT!!!! I press on!! (DOING SOMETHING!!!) that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus! Brethern I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet;but one thing I DO! forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead!

I press on towards the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus!" To some forgiveness is about forgiving but not forgetting,to me forgiving is also about forgetting!( Hebrews 8:12) Until we learn this brothers and sisters we are looking behind us.For some, they will always look behind them, but this is not what the Lord Jesus would have us do! For in looking behind us we turn our back on Jesus we are looking to follow! And then die in shame. To follow always means to move forward, where Jesus is,and the pain of yesterday, can be filled with God's love and grace today! In order for this to happen,we must do something brothers and sisters,we must as Paul did move forward to that prize, for the prize of love is never behind us, but always before us. amen!
