This is the message that God has recently given to me. I have been going through a season of non-feeling. I can't feel anything. I continue to pray but have been wondering if my prayers have any power anymore since I can't add sincere feeling to my requests. God has shown me the following message which has begun to return the feelings to my prayers and renewed my faith in the power of prayer.
We need to pray because it is a beautiful offering to God even if we don't feel that our prayers are worthy of His love. It's just like when your child makes something at school and brings it home to you. The child may not be happy with how the art turned out and may see the faults in it, but you as the parent think it is the most beautiful thing anyone has ever given you. You know that your child has created something just for you and has put everything he/she has into creating that art.
The same is true when it comes to giving gifts to our Father. We put everything we have into our prayers and may still feel like they are not worthy of God. But God receives those prayers (though they may be lacking something that you may not be able to give - like feeling). When God receives those prayers, He sees them as the most beautiful gift you can give Him. He puts those prayers on His refrigerator so that He can see them all the time. He feels overwhelming love for you because you gave Him all you had to give in those little prayers.
I think this is the most amazing message I have ever received from my Father and I am most grateful. Thank You God!!!
