My Dad's body will be cremated Monday
sometime. Please pray for that service.
My sister's pastor will be presiding over
a 'military' type funeral. My Dad was a
decorated WWII hero and saved many
of his comrades.
He received the Congressional 'Medal
of Honor' and the prestigious Silver Cross.
All men and women who fought in any
war to preserve precious God ordained
freedom, are all heros!!
We brethren are 'also' soldiers.We are in
God's Army! Rev.19:19
We fight an 'enemy' who 'hides' that we
cannot see! We, as those warriors of
'Light' before us, don our spiritual armour,
equip ourselves with the weapons of our
warfare and wait, for our orders from our
Mighty God. Eph.1:19
We have been promised and assured total
victory over Satan and his demonic forces!
2Cor.2:14;Col.2:15.
By our Supreme Commander,the 'Captain'of
our salvation. Hebrews 2:10
We brethren will receive our 'medals of honor'
one day soon! 1Cor.3:14
For our light affliction, which is but for a
moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding
and eternal weight of glory; 2Cor.4:17
While we look not at the things which are
seen, but at the things which are not seen:
for the things which are seen are temporal;
but the things which are not are eternal.
2Cor.4:18
For the Son of man shall come in the glory of
his Father with his angels; and then he shall
reward every man according to his works.

My Dad, like so many 'soldiers' before him,
battle weary and 'exhausted' , saw his
Commander, Potentate, the King of kings,
and Lord of lords. 1Tim.6:15.
Saverio C. Russo, 'slipped' out of his 'combat'
clothes and put on his 'fatigues'... left this
earthly plane,..... to fight no more!
Psalms 48:14: For this God is our God for ever
and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

I felt that the Holy Spirit would minister to
'someone' on this site that needs to hear
this to comfort them and assure them!
