I think one of the most powerful scriptures on healing for the most part goes untapped. Proverbs 4:20-23 says, 20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. That word health is translated medicine, remedy, healing, and cure. Did you get that, God says his word is medicine and his medicine always works. God's word is the answer for any condition no matter how serious. Notice, Psalm 107:20 says, he(God) sent his word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions.

The word of God comes with it's own power, it's own power to produce whatever it says. That's why God says in Isaiah 55:11 that his word shall not return unto him void, but it(the word) shall accomplish that which he pleases. God has a system of healing and when you understand the system then you can operate in his system and receive your healing. And his system is not complicated, in fact everyone is acquainted with it in the natural. God's system operates just as if a man plants seed in the ground. Notice, in Proverbs 4 it says to keep the word in the midst of your heart(spirit). Well, in the scriptures the spirit of a man is considered as soil (Mark 4:15) and the word is considered as seed (Mark 4:14). So, you can see God is giving instructions to plant the word in your spirit. Because, your eyes, ears, and mouth are entrances into your heart.

Every seed needs to be watered that's why it says to keep the word in the midst of your heart. Every time you hear the word it is either being planted or watered. Notice, 1Corinthians 3:6,7 I have planted, Apollos watered: but God gave the increase. So then neither he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God giveth the increase. God gives the increase to the seed that is planted and watered. And in verse 9 of that same chapter it says that you are God's husbandry that word means farm or soil. What is soil for, planting. God wants you planting his seed in you. You need to understand this seed is being planted in you 24/7, but it's the seed that you stick with and nurture that will produce fruit. Either on the positive side or the negative side. That's why Proverbs 18:21 says death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Fruit is the finished product of seed sown.

God gives us a serious warning in Proverbs 4: 23, Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. He's warning us to watch the words we allow into our soil. Because, the words that are sown in our soil will be seen in our lives. We all know that if you put a seed in the ground at some point you will see what was planted, that is well understood. A rule of seed is every seed produces after it's kind. A rose seed produces a rose, an apple seed produces apples and God said his word is life and health(healing). Let me give you an example of this, in Genesis 17:4,5 God told Abram he would have a son and be a father of many nations so he changed his name from Abram-high father to Abraham-father of a great multitude. Notice, why God changed his name in verse 5 for a father of many nations have I made thee. When God said that he made him a father of many nations in Romans 4:19 it says his body was dead and his wife's womb was dead. Notice, all the deadness, but his word is life and his name had meaning it was a seed(a seed of life). And every time he heard or saw or said his name that seed was being watered. The words that was sown in his heart(spirit) was seen in his life. And the words you plant in your heart will be seen in your life. So, plant God's word in your soil.
