When you have a condition in your body it's important that you see what the word says about it. And when you find out what the word says about it then it's important that you believe it and speak in line with it. Take for instance Samson's parents in Judges 13 2 And there was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren, and bare not. 3 And the angel of the Lord appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son. 4 Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing: 5 For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines. 6 Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of God came unto me, and his countenance was like the countenance of an angel of God, very terrible: but I asked him not whence he was, neither told he me his name: 7 But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death. 8 Then Manoah intreated the Lord, and said, O my Lord, let the man of God which thou didst send come again unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born. Notice, how they believed that word that they got from The Lord and notice how they spoke after they got that word. She was barren and yet God sent a word that she would have a son because God is not limited by your condition. When God releases his word it is able to do in spite of any contrary conditions.
Take Abraham and his wife Sarah in Genesis 17 God said to him, "As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. Now, at that time his name was Abram and God said unto him, " Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. And in verse 15 it says And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be. Abram mean high father and Abraham means Father of a multitude and Sarai means my princess and Sarah means Princess of nations. Now, when God said those things in Romans 4:19 it says, 19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb. So, they had conditions that were contrary to what God said, two dead bodies can't have a child. But, notice what God did He had them speak in line with what He said and not in line with their conditions. And as you saw in Romans 4:19 it says that Abraham was strong in faith and in Hebrews 11:11 it says, Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. They put their faith in God's word over the conditions of their bodies and they spoke in line with God's word.
How about Mary in Luke 1 an angel appeared to her and said, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. That was already prophesied back in Isaiah 7:14, Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. And after talking to the angel you see Mary said, "Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word." And the angel departed from her. Because the transaction was complete, once she believed and spoke the word his job was done. And we know she believed because her cousin Elisabeth said in verse 45, " And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord." But look at how they spoke, 41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: 42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. 43 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. 46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, 47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. 48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. 49 For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name. 50 And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation. 51 He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. 52 He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree. 53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. 54 He hath helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy; 55 As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever. And we know what happened in Luke 2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
Notice, against all natural odds, the word still worked. I mean a virgin with no man and still the word worked. A side note notice in Luke 1 when the angel appeared to Elisabeth's husband and told him that their prayer was heard and that Elisabeth would have a son he didn't believe and asked for a sign. And the angel said, And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season. Notice, he couldn't trust his speech. Well, what happened 57 Now Elisabeth's full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son. 58 And her neighbours and her cousins heard how the Lord had shewed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her. 59 And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father. 60 And his mother answered and said, Not so; but he shall be called John. 61 And they said unto her, There is none of thy kindred that is called by this name. 62 And they made signs to his father, how he would have him called. 63 And he asked for a writing table, and wrote, saying, His name is John. And they marvelled all. 64 And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue loosed, and he spake, and praised God.
That's what God says in Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Notice, it says that his word will not return to him void, but it shall accomplish that which He pleases. So, how does his word return to him when you speak it. So, it's the word in your mouth that accomplishes for you. Notice, in Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. You make your way prosperous by the word in your mouth. Notice, in Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Confession means to say the same thing. And salvation doesn't just mean being born again it also means healing, deliverance, wholeness, preservation. Notice, how you get those things by believing the word with your heart and saying what God said. That's what Jesus said in Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
It is not God's will that any should perish. And I wouldn't want to end this article without giving someone the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess that Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen
