Back on June 30 2013 I asked for prayer for my son Chris here @ talkjesus. He was strung out on meth. Now 10yrs have passed and by the leading of the Holy Spirit I’m here today to share that if Gods Word Promises it, It will happen. It took a lot longer than what I wanted but even in that time of waiting and worrying and got pitching and anger and rebellion and just plain out being human I learned so much about how Jesus was making me into his image. So don’t back down, don’t give up and keep the faith!
TODAY, my son Chris has been drug free, meth free for 3 yrs! He has re established his relationship with his daughters. He has a good job and is quickly becoming a leader in the company. Currently, he is living with us because of the housing / rental shortage in our area with his daughter London Grace. Praise Jesus. Last Sunday we all went to church together and he’s helping me prepare for the 4 outside Sunday evening meetings we’re having @ our house.
I’m here today to tell some brothers and sister in Christ to hold on to His Word of Promise He has given us about our children. Don’t give up, Don’t give in, Keep the Faith.
And if anyone tells you that your child is too far gone or that they are just too bad or any other anti Christ babble sent by the enemy through people who are easily influenced by them just ask them this? Has Jesus retuned yet? Because until that day it’s not too late! Your children will return to or give their heart to Christ. That’s the promise of His Word.
Heavenly Father, I thank You for who You are. You are our Savior and Redeemer. You are our Healer and Deliverer. You are our Living Hope and the Lifter of our Heads. I’m reminded of Your Word of Promise to us parents who have surrendered EVERYTHING to You.
Isaiah 54:13 says, “All your children shall be taught by the Lord and great shall be peace of your children.”
Isaiah 44:3, “I will pour out My Spirit on your descendants, and my blessing shall be on your offspring.”
Heavenly Father, I pray for every wayward child that they would hear You calling them above all other voices. I pray for every parent who is waiting in faith for the promise of Your Word to be fulfilled in their child/ children.
I declare with Kingdom Authority that no weapon formed against us all shall prosper. I humbly ask that angels be dispatched to war in the spirit realm over every wayward child and dispel the agents of darkness assigned to them. I pray in the Name of Jesus that every agent, force, spirit, influential person who brings, conjures, feeds, leads, subdues, covers or forces any of these children away from the drawing of Your Holy Spirit be bound, silenced, removed, rendered powerless and cast out. I declare all spells, all witchcraft, all physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual connections to the dark realm be destroyed. I pray that the Light of Christ shine upon them and bring to them a moment of clarity. And in that moment, I pray they have a revelation of You and Repent from their sin and are born again so Revival can break out in their new life in You.
