Yes, those hymns were inspired for certain,

I can't say that about much of the music today. Although I try to almost make music about the Lord.

But yes, those hymns were definitely inspired by the Holy Spirit on a level that you just don't see nowadays.
Yet, the same Holy Spirit that worked back then still works now, so I imagine inspiration continues.

But I love your suggestion, brought a big smile to my face.
