Got something I need help with.

Hi friends
I got a tatoo when I was 18. It is ugly and i hate it. I know the only way 2 get it removed is laser surgery and I just dont have that kinda money.
I am wondering if it would be wrong to get the tatoo i have now covered with a different tatoo that has meaning to me?? i really have no idea if that is wrong since i have 1 there already but i dont want 2 do anything that is wrong! thanks for any help!

you might try what they call wrecking balm..have a lot of friends that have used it ..it breaks up the pigments and helps it go away ...The word tells us not to mark our bodies ,,no guilt on past issues but now that you have the knowalge you have to respond to it one way or another ...Only God knows the heart...Thats what counts as you work out youre own salvation before God ..blessings i hope i helped some....Rev

I concur with Rev Perkins. The place you go to should you decide to put another tattoo over it, let it be very clean to include the tattoo technician. If the needles are not sanitized, you can get a bad infection.

My husband was a tattoo artist before he got saved and he practiced on himself. He has about 3 tattoos that he does not like and he really wants to cover but he's not going to because he knows its wrong. Doing something when you know it is bad in Gods sight is Sinning deliberately. In my opinion I think you shouldn't cover it because it would be compromising the word. If you get a tattoo to make yourself feel better is like someone having sex because it makes them feel better. We must remember no sin is too big or too small in the eyes of God. The bible says if we follow all the commandments and fail at one, then we are guilty of breaking all of them.

Why do you wash your clothes, or your body, or why do you dress in more than a sack? Is it not to be clean and neat and free of germs and virus's and such? In the same way, we should wash away, in not letting tattoos tell the world things we don't agree with in the morality we are to adhere to in love and adherence to the laws of our Lord. For He said if you love me, obey my commands. If the tattoos are not ungodly, no big deal, but if ungodly, we are to avoid the ungodly, aren't we?
