Grandfather's in the Hospital

I just found out that my Grandfather is in intensive care. He was having problems breathing, so an ambulance took him to the hospital. The Dr.'s right now say it shouldn't be life ending but will be life shortening. He's in his 80's. He's my last blood grandparent that's living. Please pray for him, the doctor's, and myself and my family. His name is Don. God bless.

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray for Don Lord, Justin's grandfather. I pray that you touch his body and heal him Lord.

Give the doctors the wisdom to take care of him effectively Lord. I pray that you comfort Don and his family during this time Father.

I pray that you send your Holy Spirit Lord Jesus to support them Lord.

In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Justin1979, I know how you are feeling. My grandfather died one year ago in February. It was really devastating. He was hit by a car in Sri Lanka. He was also my only grandfather.

Grandpa update

Thank you all for your prayers. The doctors did some tests, and unfortunately didn't have good news. Some of his arteries are clogged so bad that they have to do bi-pass surgery. They were hoping they didn't have to because that surgery is risky given his age and condition of his lungs. They did some tests and found his lungs to be in worse shape than they hoped. He's scheduled to go into surgery tomorrow (Monday) at 7:30 am central time. Appreciate any prayers. God bless.

Father I pray for don that you would give him comfort and peace as he undergoes this operation and that you will guide the surgeons hands and give them wisdom. I pray for a successful operation and speedy recovery. Give him wisdom with his eating habits too. I pray that you will surround the family with Your peace the peace that passes all understanding in Jesus' name amen.

Thanks again for all the prayers. The surgery went better than the doctors had hoped. So he is doing well and recovering. It was a major surgery, so he's in some pain and there is still the risk for bleeding, getting infections, and getting pneumonia. But, the family is very relieved that the surgery went well.

Father I thank you for the successful operation and I pray that there will not be any infection or bleeding and I pray he will not get pneumonia either. You are bigger than we can ever imagine and all glory always goes to You. I pray for a speedy recovery and relief from pain in Jesus' mighty name and for His glory amen.

My brother-in-law had to have a four-way bypass done some years ago. He was, I believe, in his fifties at the time. He had bit of a slow recovery. But, by sticking to his diet and following doctor's orders, he is doing well.

"Everything is possible to him who believes." (Mk 9:23)
