Yea it is, stay away from food that have allot of simple carbs and sugers in them, since those don't help you build muscle just fat. Do some cardio when you work out but don't run to much like not more then probably 8 miles a week (for me that's ok) rinning takes down you upper body weight most of the time if you do it allot because even if it is muscle you're not using it so it goes. Swimming is you best option as it uses your entire body and doesn't hurt muscle mass.
