Ingredients:
1 head cabbage chopped into strips about 2"x1" wide
2 medium onions coarsely chopped
1 1/2 cup real butter -- may need more
1 package cooked medium noodles ( I like to use egg noodles)
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Saute the chopped onions in a very large skillet using 1 cup of the butter.

Add cabbage and more butter and saute until the onion and cabbage are soft- add the noodles and more butter if needed, mix together well making sure the butter has evenly coated everything.Season with salt and pepper to taste. serves/makes 6

A dear friend introduced me to Haluski - she's Ukrainian. And I loved it. A comfort food for sure, but not to be eaten too often as it is NOT low fat. ;)

being a chinees food lover, this looks easy and delicious , i will try out even with Chicken.

thanks for sharing Truedawn

It's easy and delish for sure! Enjoy Abigya!

I forgot to put in that I put kielbasa in it as well. I've never tried chicken but that would probally be yummy too. :)

I have had this dish, but never made it for myself....like a post said, I think this will be fabulous with chicken added....hmmmm, I think that I just found what to put on the "menu" for friday's dinner! (I tend to cook alot when I feel well so we can still have homecooked dinners when I'm not feeling well....thanks so much for this easy idea for a good dinner!)
