Did you ever notice something strange? In real good times,we forget to be thankful, not all of us of course, but many of us.And in real bad times as well. When we start to complain,of which all of us have no problem doing,we find, we just keep adding to them,and pretty soon,we feel like two cents waiting for change!! LOL And then!! We wonder why??
For many of us today is Thanksgiving,a time to reflect on so many things in our lives.I just want to take the time right here and now,to Thank all of you who have read my messages and have received the best love from Jesus in me I can bring to this forum.
I Thank Chad and all who work so hard, making this the finest site on the internet! And I thank each and everyone of you all as well! The Holy Spirit woke me up early this morning about 4am, as i looked at the clock, I said ah Lord isn't a tad bit early?? LOL
Psalm 91 went into my mind. And then this,something I would like to share with all of my wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ here! Luke 17:11-19!! While He was on the way to Jerusalem, He was passing between Samaria and Galilee. As He entered a village, ten leprous men who stood at a distance met Him;and they raised their voices saying "JESUS!! Master,have mercy on us!"
When he saw them He said to them " GO and show yourselves to the priests." And as they were going, they were cleansed. Now one of them, when he saw that he had been healed, turned back,glorifying God with a loud voice, and he fell on his face at His feet,giving THANKS to HIM. And he was a Samaritan( important to note this as well!! He was not a Jew!!)(luke 10:33) a Samaritan were descendants of colonists whom the assyrian kings planted in Palestine after the fall of the Northern Kingdom in 722 B.C.
They were despised by the Jews because of their mixed Gentile blood and their difference in worship which centered at Mount Gerizim( john 4:20-22) ( just a little side note there) verse17- Then Jesus answered and said, Were there not ten cleansed? But the nine---Where are they?? Was no one found who returned to give Glory to God, except this foreigner?
The other 9 were Jews!! And none came back!! THANKSGIVING!!! Not just today,but everyday!( psalm 92:1-2)(Psalm 100:4-5) I thank our Jesus for you all! I thank our Jesus for having so many here becoming Reconciled back to the Lord in there lives! I am thankful that though I make mistakes daily,he did not make a mistake loving me! OR YOU!! Take time to really be thankful!
Tell someone else how thankful you are for them! Call them up,send them a loving message.DO BE THANKFUL! You will find out something else while doing this thanking!! Your heart will be as well.For being thankful is a good medicine!
Not just for them,but also for us! To each and everyone of you all here!!I AM!! MOST THANKFUL FOR!! Revelation 7:12 says AMEN,BLESSING and GLORY and WISDOM,and THANKSGIVING and HONOR and POWER and MIGHT, be to OUR GOD FOREVER and EVER.!!AMEN!!
