Family problems began to erode my faith years ago, but I dealt with all that as best i could (eventually) and began giving things to God more... I still struggle with certain issues and questions about God but I am doing OK... seeking God's will... not always feeling like He is listening, but I know Jesus loves me. And He said that if you have seen Him you have seen the Father..
have been walking with Jesus for years, had a "long, strange trip" as it were

He is always listening , and He knows what is best for you. Just maybe the cares of this life is drowning out the whispers of His voice.
All True "born from above" "Born of GOD" travels a strange road, we are Pilgrims traveling through a strange land. We are a strange people. A Peculiar people" the Bible labels us. We travel sometimes through "The Dark night of the soul", some of us fall into the "Slough of Despond", some of us get struck in or trap in "Vanity City" it is "Perilous Journey". and everynow and then you might, meet a fellow traveler.
