Have i been saved?

Hello, ok i will just say because i am not sure how to start off.

i have accepted jesus christ as my saviour and will send me to heaven but lately because my mind weighs heavy of past bad sins thats i have done and regreted and worried about what heaven is like and is it there. That i have worked against Jesus and not following his path if i had a Sunday off i would go to church but my work keeps my busy i talk with jesus everyday or try to or see work that he has done...

I am not sure if this is the work of God or anything but i was driving with friends and both were almost very chrsitian and closer to jesus and God than i was. I told them if i made it to heaven and the old saying we get to ask God one question i would ask him to make something for me to see how he does it, not even a minute later a double rainbow appeared infront of my truck and vanished soon after. Was this his way of trying to talk to me?

Guys i am scared i am not going to heaven because of my sins some not so bad some bad to me i don't know what they are to him but i want him to forgive me and i want to have salvation with him and the rest of my family when they get there i hope all of them make it too... can anyone rest my tired soul on the subject i have asked jesus to speak with me in my dreams but i never remember my dreams so i don'tknow if he has visited or not....Please help me i am begging you help rest my soul and have jesus on your side.

Rainbow? Brother, that surely had to be a sign from GOD. Jesus paid the price of all our sins, once and for all on Calvary Cross. The devil is a liar and trying to make you doubt your salvation in Christ. He tries this on every believer, so don't listen to him. GOD proved to you your salvation is sealed by giving you a sign you asked for. I think its more than enough and frankly, just amazing! Whenever you sin, confess it and ask for forgiveness and Christ. GOD loves you and will not forsake you.

GOD sent Noah a rainbow too as a sign of His covenant.

Genesis 9:12-15

12And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:

13I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.

14And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:

15And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

I do believe the double rainbow was a way of God talking to you. He made something beautiful for you, right then and there.

Brother, we're not saved by good works, so we won't go to Hell for bad works. None of us are perfect and God knows that. That is why He sent his only begotten son to die on the Cross for us. He knew we couldn't live good enough. If you humbly believe in your heart that Jesus died on the cross, was buried and rose again on the third day by the power of God, you will be saved.

Romans 10:9
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." KJV

Humbly confess your sins to God and He is faithful to forgive you. There is not one sin besides unbelief that God won't forgive you for. Ask for forgiveness and turn away from those sins. Live for God.

1 John 1:9
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." KJV

Thank you guys for giving my soul rest i believe i am able to relax alittle and enjoy life now sad that i am only 18 and already i have teh fear of death upon my shoulders

Now the above is generally towards earthly people. But, we can apply this still towards the devil. So do not fear the devil nor his lame lies

Trust me, insecurity is a normal emotion for a young person like yourself. I was very insecure at age 18 (I'm 71 now). When Scripture tells us to not doubt, it means that we should not let doubt take over. Doubt is going to be present in you as you go through the maturing process. God allows that so that your faith can be perfected.

"Consider it all joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance and perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." (James 1:2-3)

Do you love the Lord with all your heart? Do you, from your heart, surrender your will and your life to Him on a regular basis (to re-affirm it in your mind)? If the answer to these questions is yes, then my answer to you is "Yes, you are saved"!
