In God’s eyes, you are beautiful and valuable. You are exactly who He created you to be. Sure, from your own perspective, you feel hideous and inadequate, but you are wrong about yourself. God made you in His image, and is happy to be sharing His life with you. When He created you, He breathed His life into you, and that piece of Him remains with you even now. It cannot be separated from you. It will not leave you. He is a part of “who you are”, just as you are a part of who He is. You and God are eternally connected, and it doesn’t matter if you believe it or not. It simply is.
What does He want from you? He loves you and enjoys you, and His hope is that you will recognize Him within your heart, and will begin to enjoy Him. He wants to share His ocean of abundance with you, and help you return to the state of peace that He intended you to have from the beginning. He wants you to feel good about yourself, and feel good about your connection to Him. He wants you to feel safe to live freely, just as He lives. He wants you to be eager to love His creation, just as He loves it. He wants you to know that He is the source of your spirit, and He loves you as much as He loves Himself. He wants you to see Himself in everyone you encounter, and watch the “Him in you” love the “Him in others”.
If you want to change the circumstances of your life, learn to recognize God’s that goodness resides inside of you, and understand that He dwells within your heart. He is with you always, and will never leave you… no matter what. Watch your life change as you fall in love with “who He is” and let His love fill you up! Why live in the emptiness of your own doubts and fears? Let His love settle your heart, and free you to be everything you can be. You were made to have incredible potential. Understanding His love for you will start you on the path to unleashing that potential, and from it, you will find the peace and joy for which your heart yearns.
