The headline in the OP, made me think of the words of Matthew 24:22:-

'And except those days should be shortened,
there should no flesh be saved:
but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.'

* In the newspaper article concerning the events of the link above, it said:-
Planet Earth has recorded its shortest day since records began.
The 1.59 milliseconds shaved off the usual 24 hour spin on June 29
raises the prospect of a leap second having to occur to keep clocks aligned.
This would be the first time global clocks have been sped up.
The Earth's rotation has been known to slow down,
with 27 leap seconds needed to keep atomic time accurate since the 1970's.
The last was on New Year's Eve 2016, when clocks paused for a second
to allow the Earth to catch up.
But since 2020 that phenomenon has reversed - the previous fastest day
was -1.47 milliseconds on July 19 that year. Humans can't detect the change,
but it could affect satelites and navigation systems.
Experts say the 'Chandler Wobble' - a change in the spin of the Earth on its axis - may be to blame.
Dr Leonid Zotov, of the Sternberg Astronomical Institute, Moscow, said:
'the normal wobble amplitude is about four metres at Earth's surface,
but from 2017 to 2020 it disappeared.'

Dear Sister,
Personally, I used to be able to feel when viewing world events, the time speeding up or slowing down/standing still. Maybe it was just the Spirit's way of letting me know that the return of the Lord was getting closer!!!

Thanks for sharing!

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

A very Interesting “wobble” in”Time”! In “GOD” one “Wobble” can take off a Thousand years” what seems like a moment to others.

Look out, Next “Wobble” might be in“A Twinkle”…ff.

Hi Chris,

That reminded me of the effect on the planet with the most powerful natural disasters. Such as the tsunami of 26th december 2004.

Gross previously used the technique to estimate the shift caused by the 2004 Sumatran quake that caused the Indian Ocean tsunami. That 9.1 magnitude quake shifted the Earth's axis by 2.3 milliarcseconds and shortened a day by 6.8 microseconds.

What a disaster and terrible trajedy for all those people.
I just hope many cried out to Christ and also among those who survived.
I remember listening to hurricane Irma on youtube and could make that out as a warning sound. Terribly frightening and thats a way of the groans of the earth and the natural elements letting the world know to repent and turn to the truth in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ.

We know that we can too see God's divine attributes in creation. His love and peace . Just seeing many turning their backs, loving the passing pleasures of this world over eternity and over God.
