Hi All,
I have heard that when we are in the New Jerusalem, we will be able to look down and see the torment of those in hell and that will prevent us from wanting to rebell against God. Because Satan wont be there to tempt us we will be back in the garden of eden and to prevent us turning away from God of our own accord, we will see the pain and torment in hell.
I have always thought that heaven will be a happy place where we wont be saddened or tempted. In Isaiah 65 it says that the former things will not be remembered. These two things seem to be contradictory.
Is this correct? Any thoughts?
Cheers!
