Hello from Mississippi.

Hello. I'm Chris and I join this site to look for something more interesting online. We are taking semester exams and are about to get out for Christmas break. I am apart of a prayer group at my school called Prayer Warriors of Repentance 4:33- (Acts). Today we are praying about what awesome thing we need to allow God to do through us in the year of 2007, the year of completion. We have witnessed people being filled with the Holy Spirit and become a part of God's kingdom, fighting against the worthless kingdom of satan. I have been realizing that I need to read the bible more, pray more, and fast ever more so I can be prepared to be equipped with the armour of the Lord. We have really seen a difference in our school. People are talking about Jesus more. Even though there is a group of students who practice satanic witchcraft, they cannot do any harm, because we already have set the foundation of Christ on those groups and nothing can't penetrate the thick roots of our Christ Jesus. I am so blessed to be apart of this site. Thank you so much.

So I've been learning about dust.....

I know it's weird but check it out. ok.......
Genesis 3:14 "And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life...."

Then Genesis 2:7 - " And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."

Ok. the serpent of course symbolizes satan. He shall crawl on his belly, which means he will be driven by uncontrollable urges. He shall eat the dust of the earth. God created us from the dust of the earth. Dust= fleshly, sinful desires. So the satan's job is to eat of our flesh daily. Gradually he nibbles, trying to destroy us because he knows about the power to lies within us. That is "the breath of life" God has given us- His amazing spirit has the power to conquer all of satan's attacks. satan want to bury and kill us by suffocating us with the dust of sin. But daily God renews His grace daily, giving us a daily, refreshed washing.

Welcome to the forum, Chris. I can't help but comment on something I saw in your post. You said that you and your friends are praying to find out what marvelous thing you will allow God to do throughg you in 2007.

Let me respond to that by quoting Bono, the lead singer from the group U2 (who has become a Christian): "Quit asking God to bless what you've decided to do. Instead, find out what God is doing and get involved in that."
