Hello all! I have been working on myself and my relationship with God and have now realized fully that the Holy Spirit, for sure, resides in me.
This is hard to explain and I pray someone will understand what I’m saying. Ok so I talk to the Holy Spirit indirectly in my mind. Which is why I get frustrated bc I wonder why He isn’t answering me and why I’m talking to myself? Well I had a realization that it’s because I’m afraid of God. I have a fear big time of the Holy Spirit and when I realized this, I said directly to Him in a question, “Holy Spirit,” as in, a are you there fashion.. and He said “Yes” and it scared be greatly.
I can feel myself (my spirit maybe?) Hide within myself..
Has anyone else discovered anything like this about themselves? I’m very in tune with my mind, body, soul, and heart and spirit.
I have recently repented and turned from my ways and am on the straight and narrow. Please help and give me your thoughts?

God talks to us but not like we would think. Long past are the days when God did talk to us directly.
With God you can see how He does. Without God, one and the rest can NOT see or hear.
God answers all prayers:
1. Yes
2. No.
3. Most of the time: "Wait."
Every time He will but when He knows is best and not when we (flawed) think it's best for us. In fact, I think a lot of answered prayers and Him "talking" to us is realized in hindsight.
I'm still learning but when you cut out more of the world, it's easier to see and hear God along with Creation.

God has not given us a spirit of fear; but one of love, understanding and a sound mind. Perfect love, casteth out fear. Praise God for it.
God answers all prayers. Are you praying amiss?
Do all things as you would do them unto God. Because you are.
You are not talking to yourself, but God.
As I/we live, move and breath; we do so unto God.

It isn't about self, it's all about Christ.

You sound very much like a niece of mine who I had a great visit with over Thanksgiving! You can see the fire of the Holy Spirit in her, when you talk to her. So focused, and being shown so much in dreams, and hearing from our God. Some would question her sanity, as I am sure you have been questioned as well. Do not go seeking others approval is what I tell you. Delve into God's Word, and always confirm what you are hearing/seeing with it. Don't worry Sister, God won't mind.

I do this all the time. We must remember that only God can hear/read our thoughts. We can "talk" to Him at any time. There's nothing "weird" about it. Now, prayer...is different and IMO, one should take time away from people to focus.
God does talk to us, just NOT how we perceive other people.
I've found go answers you but most of the time:
1. "Yes."
2. "No."
3. "Wait."
99..99% of the time you will get "Wait" when you pray for, ask for, or REALLY want to hear something audible. It's frustrating. I've learned that He IS always there but our innate desire for instant gratification or "answers" here is our problem. God doesn't talk to us like he did back in the OT.
Without God who I was is someone I never want to be again. Do you agree?
With God, I have changed and am very different in how I am in this world and with people.
IMO, with God constantly on my mind then my thoughts and actions tend to be better than they used to.
If you're a new Christian as I'm gathering, good to see this! I'm also a Reelist and Satan/Evil targets new Christians fast and hard. New Christians need other Christians and more study for some time.
