Just a brief introduction. I'm not entirely new here... I've mostly read postings, but this is my first time writing. I'm not really sure how to use this site, so perhaps some of you will offer suggestions.

If I could wish for one thing (and of course I can), I would wish that God's people would really live the law of love that Jesus gave. It really saddens me when we jump all over one another in online forums over trivial things. Even if one of us is wrong, we are admonished by the Lord to mete out correction with love. God is love, and He says that it is by this love all will know that we are His disciples.

I agree with you. We should confront bad theology, but that doesn't mean we need to humiliate or attack anyone. Like Martin Luther said, we ought to expose false doctrine with Biblical truth and only with the Word of God as our weapon.

You stated in your post that you have read threads here for quite a while. I hope that you do not feel as if we fight here on the forums. We try to create an atmosphere where we can discuss Jesus but not put each other down.

We have to remember that there are countless backgrounds represented in this forum.
