help , advice please

hi all.
I was wondering if you can help me.
I'm trying to help my friend.
basicly , she think somethink goes wrong for her, after she has told the lord that she has sinned , I thought it was that if you don't tell the lord that you have sinned , then somethink might go wrong ??
if you help me out with this that would be grate.

Hey for christ,

To help me better understand the situation, what exactly does she think is/goes wrong? If you can help me understand what she is focusing on then maybe we can see if it is some type of deeper issue that Satan is allowing fear to control. Any thoughts????

Much love to you,
Tina

she thinks things goes wrong after she has told the lord she has sinned
I hope this helps ??

Sometimes it seems like that, but we must understand that God does not tempt any, but rather makes a way out of our temptations. And as for Satan, he can do nothing other than he is allowed to of God. All things that come upon us are for the trial of our faith, that the Lord may see who is truly sincere toward Him. And we must remember what Christ tells us, that, "My grace is sufficient for thee, for my strength is made perfect in weakness". We should not assume that the Lord has forsaken us, because He hasn´t, because He has promised us that He won´t. We must be anxious for nothing, but by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let us make our requests known to God. And lest we forget, it is given to us in the half of Christ, not only to believe on Him, but also to suffer for His sake. So then let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

hi guys
thanks so much for your advice.
but I need your advice on on somethink else
she feel like she will have to go through a alot of pain if she was to get god back in her life again , she really does believe in jesus more then she does god. She feel like that cos she was so so lost from him that god won't be that best please with her , I try to tell her that god is love and that he loves us all , but she still feel's like is will have to go through a lot of pain . any advice guy ???

We are never promised that life would be without pain. But that God would see us through it. Life isn't always easy...there is no promise in the Bible that life would be easy or simple for anyone. We know that God is with us when life gets hard. In the Bible it says that God will never leave nor forsake us. right now, God is with her whether she believes that or not or acknowledges that is up to her.

I know how painful life can be. go to the testimony section and find my post. Read it. Read it to your friend for all I care. She will need to know that God is ever faithful...does she not know that Jesus and God are one and the same? Jesus is God's son...I don't know how she can part them like she is.

I've told her that , and she understands thats life was not mean to be easy, but she still feels like she would have put up with a lot of pain if she had god back in her life.

Sometimes, no matter what we say, people do whatever they want. We can't tell them anything...they just do their own thing. Sometimes we have to stand back and let them do whatever they want. Pray for her.

I still don't understand how she can separate Jesus and God.

Jesus and God and Holy spirit...three in One. Jesus is not only God's Son, but God Himself.

If she is okay with Jesus, how then can she not be okay with God?

Is Jesus God or not?

No matter what your friend says, God loves her.

i know that i will sound a little crazy but here goes. in a way she is right. i know that Father gives us peace and comfort by His Spirit. i also know that, according to Hebrews, there is a rest that comes in Him. but the apostle paul spoke quite often of those which he had suffered for Christ. he also went on to say in 2 Co. 4:17-18, "For our light affliction, which is for the moment, worketh for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory; while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." when he prayed three times for the Lord to remove the angel of Satan that was buffeting him and three times the Lord said, "no! my grace is sufficient for you. My strength is made perfect in your weakness." so we do suffer but it is not because of any wrong. we suffer for Him.

if i may posit something here. sounds to me like the enemy is pressing hard on her whenever she repents. dietrich boenhoffer in 'the cost of discipleship' made these statements: only he who believes will obey and only he who obeys will believe. faith and obedience are wonderfully and indivisibly connected. if one suffers then so does the other. either she is not engaging faith to obey or she is not being obedient to believe but she must do one or the other or she will never have victory over the enemy.

i'm sorry to have wandered but let me reiterate what i said at first. she is right, she will face pain. death is painful just ask the Lord. she needs to decide if dying to herself to live in Him is worth itself to her. we know it is worth it and i've been doing it for 31 yrs. so let her know that i can testify that He is faithful for 31 years. others have done it longer than i and they say the same. she is not an exception, He will be faithful to her as well

hope this helps. i will pray for her that Father will woo her unto Himself!
