Nearly 1 Million Californians flee wildfires; need your help now!
The devastation from wildfires in California is being called the worst national disaster since Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans. Nearly a million Californians have been forced to flee their homes -- the largest evacuation in the history of the state.
With more than 1,250 homes destroyed and thousands more in the path of fires raging from Malibu to San Diego, the scope of this disaster is overwhelming.
No one in Southern California is untouched by this disaster. Millions wonder what tomorrow will bring ... and fear it will be more bad news.
We are loading as much as we can as fast as we can into our fleet of 18-wheelers to rush water, food, and other essentials to the children and families living in overcrowded, temporary shelters.
Please give generously to help us continue to supply the evacuation centers with the relief supplies they urgently need!
