Help Me Find Jesus

I am looking to find Jesus (for the person I am looking for that is reading this you will know what I am talking about)
I am looking for a mentor who lives in Los Angeles who knows how I can find him. Preferably a minister or someone who has had experience in helping others find Jesus.
I am going to go on a 40 day uninterrupted road trip journey to focus on reforming my life and doing everything it takes to have an encounter with Jesus. I am not looking for theory or just faith but I want an encounter with Jesus. I want to see him. I have been told that if I ask to see Jesus he will appear and that experience will determine the course of the next phase of my life. If you are serious about guiding someone like myself and have the proper credentials or know how then please contact me. I do not have anything to pay you but I will document my process and share with the world.


I am willing to travel anywhere and will leave from Los Angeles, California starting October 15, 2012. I want to start prepping this week.

Seeing Jesus does not require you to be in a certain physical place: It requires you to have eyes, which are able to see Him. All of us are in this sense born blind, but we are not left without hope of having vision:

"Where there is no vision, the people perish" Prov 29:18

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." Matt 7:7-8

Seeker, you are already getting off track in assuming you need any man to find Jesus. It's way simpler than the world makes it out to be. Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. His presences spans the whole world from the east to the west. My friend, you don't need to leave the very place you're sitting right now reading this to find Him.

The real question is this: Are you willing to be changed by Him? Are you open to Him showing the sin that's in your heart? Are you ready to love Him with your whole heart, mind, body, and soul?

If you are, the Holy Spirit will come into your heart to convict you of sin. We're fallen, and we have a lot of issues, but He will likely point out one of those issues and ask you to put it aside because it's getting in the way of your ability to have a relationship with Him.

You might feel like you could never deal with that sin as it's so powerful over you, and that's absolutely true. But by then you will know enough to call upon the name of Jesus to deliver you from that sin every time the temptation comes. Begin to pray to be baptized into His Holy Spirit. Keep turning from that sin, keep calling upon His name, spend time in prayer, alone, just you and Jesus. Have faith that He is right there listening, because He is. Send all your prayers to Father God in Jesus' name. When He decides, He will utterly break the bondage of that sin over your life. You will be set free! You will know the power that's in Jesus to deliver us.

When He sees fit, He will baptize you with His Holy Spirit. This is not a "water" baptism, it's a Spiritual baptism. Water baptism can come later. This "Spiritual" baptism will be unmistakable when it happens to you. You will know the Living God. Get into His Word every day, maintain that prayer relationship daily, too. He will guide you and teach you and comfort you. You will experience His presence regularly, but you may not actually "see" Him until we part to be with Him or He returns.

Jesus only shows Himself to those who have been chosen to be "apostles." That doesn't mean you couldn't be an apostle, it just means that most people do not "see" Him in this life. But, like I said earlier, we can "experience" His presence when we spend time daily in prayer and study of His Word.

I can see you've made big plans to meet God. This is beautiful in His sight, but it's not necessary. Humble yourself and begin seeking Him. When He points out the sin in your heart, cry out to Him to help deliver you from it. Pray for the baptism of the Holy Spirit and trust Him completely. Then you will know the Living God and you will experience things and "know" things that only God could show you, things no man could do for you.

Allow me to pray for you: Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus I come humbly to You lifting Seeker up. May you guide him, have mercy upon him, show him your love, mercy, and salvation. Grant him repentance, and baptize him in Your Holy Spirit that he may be redeemed and You may be glorified!

I understand your desire seeker. I know Jesus, He is my Lord, but the journey sometimes is what the Lord desires of us other than sitting in front of the computer. Travelling about sharing the faith with others, trusting God to take care of you, its just like olden days of the prophets and disciples you desire. I have before felt a strong complusion from the Lord to leave all and travel, walking and being a minister of the gospel to all who would hear. The first time, I fought the desire, but eventually gave in, but not far into the journey, the Lord told me I could go back home, he was testing me for a future time. I felt the urging again just a year or so ago, but because of being married and my wife needing me, I told the Lord, if He would give me a destination, I would go, with my wife's grudging consent. The destination never came. I assume He was reminding me of eventual need to do as He first told me I would need to do one day. In the meantime, I do my best to minister to those around me. I hope you are in a situation where no one is depending on you for care. But regardless, when the call is given, you must go.

So glad you want Jesus in your life! This is pleasing to the Lord above all things a man can do. First, accept Christ as Lord and Savior, Living Son of GOD who is Risen and a once for all atonement for all your sins (past, present, future). Second, follow Him.

You do not need to wait for a certain time, you do not need any counselor or pastor to help you pray (and believe) this truth, you do not need to travel to encounter Jesus. All you need to do is confess with your mouth.

Romans 10:9-10

9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

PRAISE JESUS THAT YOU ARE SEEKING!! AMEN!!

BECAUSE JESUS IS AMAZING!!!!!!!


SO, NOW, FROM YOUR HEART:
Just call HIS holy name, and HE will guide you.
Call on HIM from your heart, and HE will come to you.
Confess HIS holy name from you heart and HE will tell you who HE is.
Read the WORD ( Bible) from your heart andHE will show you what you should do, how to live, and what HE can do.
Tell HIM your heart, your willingness for HIM to change your heart and HE will give you NEW LIFE and YOU'LL BE BORN AGAIN!!

IT ALL MUST BE THE HEART THAT WANTS HIM!!
Depending on your heart, HE may come in any form.
HE may come through people you hate to humble you. ,
Come through people you look down on to surprise you and test to see if you would really want HIM.
Have a cat chase to the front of a church, just to show you who is in control.
Have a child handing you a bible for sale, but your bible is free; just to show how much HE is watching you.
Who knows.

JESUS IS AMAZING!! But HE knows each and every one of us.

you do not need to travel to meet or find Jesus, if you can cry out to HIM He Will Save you right where you are!

i got saved in my bedroom just right after calling Jesus Christ to please Come and Save me!

You are already drawn by GOD to think about GOD so take the step and ASK JESUS
