PETER A ROCK, maybe a "stone" there is only One "ROCK".

Peter is the Greek equivalent of the Syriac or Aramaic name Cephas (Kephas from Aramaic kay fah) which was assigned to Simon by Jesus.]

["Peter was not always a model of rock-like (petros is a symbol of imperturbability as determined from used in Greek literature) firmness. Just to tease you a little bit my friend, there was some excavation being done underneath St Peter's Cathedral in the Vatican. They found some bones of a person that was obviously hung upside down on a cross. They estimated the time to be very close to the time of Jesus. And it was located directly below the altar for St Peter's Cathedral.

Now, I do want to point out one thing, St Peter's Cathedral existed before the Reformation.

Before the major splits that happened in the church we were all one at that time. One church under God!

And i quite sure you know, That There were Thousands upon thousands upon thousands that where "Hung upside down on crosses and on trees"! By the "Church", by "Barbarians" and by "Governments" and "Thugs" meaning "Vigilantism" and we must remember "Jesus was not Crucified on a cross but a "tree". So most likely "Peter" was too. On a tree not a cross. and by now that tree has "ROTTEN" away! Sounds like "Relics" to me. And may i ask, do they still have "PETER'S" head in "ROME" in a glass jar?

Now i am not going to do any research, i did that back in the 1970's. I am not going back there, i am getting too old. :relieved:

"This Rock" is where Peter got the knowledge of who Jesus was.
