,,You're ignorant-enough to trust your own self,
but it takes much more ignorance to not trust Christ at all."

@Jesuscentric

Well it's not in the Bible

And I googled it and found nothing.

Where did you hear it said?

But this verse is in the Bible....and is therefore an unfailing truth:

It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
Psalm 118:8-9

Perfect verse match at least :)

It was written on the wall at my University, without mentioning the author.
Thanks for those beautiful match-verses from the Bible

Perhaps you could ask the University Administrators
It maybe a quote of one of their historical lecturers or professors

Happy researching

Whom ever said it did say the truth, but it's not a Bible verse. Where did you hear it? The Book of Psalm has many psalm's that could be twisted a little to make it sound close. Do you have a favorite verse you would like to sahre?

farout

Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me?

and somebody commented like that:

Jesus is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient.
He sees and hears and knows everything – whatever Philip was, whatever Nathaniel was, whatever Peter or Andrew or you were. He has seen what you have done, He’s known what you are going to do and He still loves you and He still died for you. That is amazing grace. Never mind Romeo and Juliet. That’s the real thing.

Amen to that most beautiful thought
Jesus is the real thing
